NRS wrote themselves in a corner. You're supposed to have him being morally ambiguous.
Killing kids is not ambiguous it's plain evil with no coming back.
I'd love for Superman to find a way to undo some of his actions. Maybe find a being capable of bringing people back to life, and he chooses Shazam over Lois.
I'd like to see a better take at his regime. One where you can actually understand that some heroes would want to kill the rapists and murderers but stick to that.

Looking back on the trailers released for this game, Shattered Alliances Part 5 (Brainiac) got me more hyped for the story in this game than any trailer I've seen for Justice League or Wonder Woman or Suicide Squad. NetherRealm KNOWS the value of having a strong and terrifying villain.

The writer read Irredeemable and decided he could top it. They should have stuck to killing bad guys like you said but instead, they had to go on a quest to top Irredeemable. Now it's almost impossible to redeem Superman without retconning everything from the comics.

Why use Brainiac AND Darkseid in this game? I always took Brainiac to be the weaker of the two, so why cut him off at the legs when you could save Darkseid for Injustice 3?

Pre order DLC is up on Xbox One I'll try to find pictures of all the ultimate edition characters and it has pictures of the shaders you get on three different characters.

If I can figure out how to get pictures off the Xbox One app I'll load pictures of Reverse Flash and John and the shaders. The Demons shader is black and red and it looks like it turns your skin pale white.

I honestly thought it was him lol. I would be okay with him doing the voice. Dude is one of the best parts of everything he is and has ever been in.

Yes to the premium skins, most likely no to the 2 shaders. They're the only thing described as exclusive to the ultimate edition.

If you think about it, it is a sad state of affairs that by now it has become normal that they lock you out of content that is ready at release unless you pay extra.
I by the way got weak and preordered the game today, even though I told myself not to before they release info of what features the PS4 Pro version has. I'm already getting ready to be disappointed or even locked out of downsampling if there are actually Pro features like a higher resolution.

You can use gear with them, but they only apply stats. The look will always be the same, since the Premium Skins fall into the Shader slot.

Superman doesn't need to be morally ambiguous. That's not a rule. NRS didn't write themselves into a corner, they made a narrative choice. The first game's writing wasn't perfect, but the narrative made sense within the context of the universe created for Injustice. Superman's actions shouldn't be undone; he needs to live with their consequences. You can't put the genie back into the bottle. I'll be disappointed if Injustice 2 takes Superman down the path of redemption.

It makes sense that she has Supergirl's face, Kara and Karen are one and the same. It's a great modernisation of her classic costume, though I'd love to have seen the one shoulder cape.

Multiverse apart from the new Green Arrow is gone. Its solely in the Injustice Universe.

No, there is a singular canon across the comics and games.
I guess I wasn't as familiar with Power Girl's history in the comics as I first thought. Both characters are supposed to be literal physical copies of one another? Or is that just in relation to the New 52 continuity?

I always thought she just served as Supergirl on Earth 2. I knew she was a Supergirl clone in the DCAU, but in the regular verse, I thought they were very distinct characters.

Power Girl is also Kara Zor-L, albeit from Earth 2. She is older than Supergirl and her powers are more developed, but otherwise they are physical counterparts. Power Girl and Supergirl are very distinct characters however. Power Girl is blunt, confident, tough and punches first.

Pee Gee is one of my favourite DC characters. You should check out Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner's incredible run on Power Girl.
