Funny at this point to see a video about Zelda getting delayed "out of 2015". Seems like forever ago I was looking forward to playing the game that year.

Edit:
Oooh, and the bonus bit: "[Nintendo] will give you bad news, they will delay games. But, when that Zelda game does come out, on the Wii U, or the NX, or a garbage pail filled with peanut flips, it will still be so, so much greater, than any other games that are out at the time. . ." That line's a joke, but turned out to be so true for me at least. Fun episode to watch in retrospect, makes me want to go back through more of the old episodes!

I'm not sure what app you're using. If you're on the standard iTunes or Google stores, you should be able to just search for Frame Trap and the other shows individually. I think you can also find the RSS from the SoundCloud pages for those shows to add it manually.

that works. thanks blood and sorry for the hassle :)

Latest Tabletop was like a mix of One Piece and Ghibli movies. Actually its been that way for a while with Pompers 3rd gear and all.

In terms of my confidence, before I realized I was totally off about Ben Moore (which inspired this experiment) I was absolutely certain he was Blood. Blood looks like the reserved Japanese game lover. That isn't an insult, Ben's taste of games is 70% of the reason I love EZA in my few months listening.
Well Blood is the only one who can read some Japanese (AFAIK), so you might have a point there.

What about Alice.

It should be Sophie in the middle!

So, I never followed GT and every now and then I end up leaving something from GT running in the background during college work or house chores so I know more about the Allies work. Just watched this, that may be my favorite Final Bosman episode yet.

"You feeling better now?"

NEW TIER: BOX PEEK - A KYLE BOSMAN SHOW

https://www.patreon.com/posts/new-patreon-goal-11264314

Hi Allies!

I'm here to announce a new Patreon goal for a series I'd like to make! I think I introduce it best in that video up there, but if you're short on time I can explain it in words too. I want to make a short series in the same vein of animated shows created to sell competitive games, about this world where everyone loves a game called Box Peek. Box Peek is played by two competitors climbing into boxes, and is won if one person peeks at the other's box for four seconds, or if one person catches the other peeking. It's the kind of stupid dramatized and absurd thing I actually get into, so I thought it would be fun to see if I could pull it off. Since I'm not good at animation, Box Peek will feature paper puppets I draw and film, and the voice work will be recorded by none other than the highly-talented Easy Allies.

The goal's funding itself is unusual--since I'll be doing one season in bulk, it will not be a rolling monthly goal, but will just be achieved once and then disappear. I'll be putting up to $2,000 of the $44,000 goal directly into producing the show, and everything else will be divided normally like any other other month. The current plan is to produce 10 episodes, each around 10 minutes each, and to premiere them consecutively 1.5-to-2 months after reaching the goal, though I can't promise that any part of that won't change. If you have any questions about any of this, I'll be active in the comments below. I'm excited to make a weird thing.

Love & Respect,
Kyle

Why does that sound like one big troll? Haha. Oh well, a Bosman show is a Bosman show.

You should probably cross-post in to that Final Bosman thread.

Edit: the video explains it a lot better.

It's going to be produced in batch and then rolled out in a 1.5 - 2 month time frame.
Think like month of Don's Discount Gaming.

The idea of the game is so simple (and ridiculous) that I'm surprised no one has thought of it before. Sounds like something ITV would put on on a Saturday evening.

Sounds good. If it doesn't reach its target I would love to see the Allies play the game in a group stream.

There's been a small bump edging towards $43k already. Neat. See what happens when the US wakes up and when they promote it on the group stream.

Sounds amazing. Box Peak sounds so stupid but then someone makes an anime out of it, where the hype and drama gets unreal and its the best new show of the year. Hopefully the funding will be done quick and dirty.

Well that's a surprise. Glad to see Kyle finally find something to do next that gets him creativily interested. And Since it's a one time achieve I got to think it can make it this month or the next.

The pitch video though should be put on the official youtube as well?
You never know what would motivate someone to become an a patron.
Maybe someone was waiting for Box Peek all this time.

I think that needs a slightly different video for that non-Patreon audience, but yes, something should be there at some point.

Kyle being stressed out by weekly timelines on shows and therefore looking for ways not to make one is a bit sad. I mean I'm glad he's finding ways to be creative and work around that, but given any other professional context, I don't know if that would float. Plus EZA could really do with an editorialesque well-produced show. Looking forward to Box Peek regardless, the man has storytelling superpowers.

I can see that. However they want to do it as long as they get the word out really. I only advocate that they don't have it only circulate among patreon supports.

When I first read the title, for a second I was like... he seriously wants to do an unboxing show? lol

Cashing in on the unboxing search tags for discoverability :-x .

I totally get why he's concerned about making an endless thing. It's kind of nightmarish to think about. You also never know how people will react and how "destructive" to the business it could be should a cancellation happen.

Also, Box Peek sounds really, really charming and cool. That's so different from everything else they produce, I can't help but feel excited. I also love scripted Bosman bits and he's super talented. Looking forward to this. Hopefully it can happen soon!!

So about Box Peek. Not really that interested or excited about it personally. That being said, I'm happy that Kyle is so excited and that he found something of his own to create. I'll definitely give this a shot if and when the first ep airs. Maybe I'll be hooked immediately =) It's a novel idea. Good luck Kyle!

Whoa! Way excited for this! Will for sure up my pledge when I get home from work today.

A few things, though:
1) Gotta open this video up to the public. I don't think this is the intent at all, but asking for more money from only those who are already Patreon contributers isn't the best look.

2) Kyle's Patreon weirdness is avoidable. If he makes a show, it doesn't need to be tied to a tier or have any firm weekly release schedule. Sporadic releases are fine as long as people know that beforehand. If Bosman is making a Final Bosmanish show, that will bring a lot more eyes and attention to EZA as a whole.

All that being said, i'm thrilled about this. Kyle's sense of humor meshes with mine completetely, and it's awesome he has something planned that he's obviously excited to create.

As much as I am endeared by sincere Bosman, I'll be the "meanie". I don't like the pitch at all. It sounds like something I only wouldn't mind seeing at the end of an episode of anything else. The most I can say is that it's certainly an idea I'd only hear from Kyle Bosman.

On the brighter side, it's not like there's a giant goal for it and it is set to be a one-time project. I'll still give it a try.
