I was thinking about Banjo 3 as well but then forgot that Rare is developing Sea of Thieves and then I thought that Microsoft probably wouldn't want a beloved IP like Banjo to take away from a new IP. New IPs are hard to sell enough as it is. Although it would be a huge gain. Maybe next E3?

Now would really be the best time to bank on the 3D platformer hype though, but yeah, it'd take away from Sea of Thieves which is why even if it were being developed they wouldnt show it off this year.

All I'm really hoping for is FF7r and KHIII showing up, but it'd be nice if a thing or two otherwise could pleasantly surprise me!

I get the feeling it's going to be a let down as far as new game announcements go, especially with regards to MS and Nintendo.

I bet that Nintendo continues to drip feed game reveals especially given their positive public outlook right now, which only serves to embolden their decisions. MS will keep on with the same old while pointing at Scorpio and 3rd party game improvements as it's new and shiney; I expect the worst showing from them as they try to inflate the worth of Sea of Thieves and Crackdown. I think most people already expect mostly just new showings of previously revealed games from the Sony lineup.

Im most excited at the prospect of RDR2 and REmake2 showings while most fearful of FFVIIre gameplay. Also looking forward to seeing more of the Sony AAA lineup.

Bethesdas show has been interesting the past couple years as well. They've provided some decent surprises and hints at things to come in their pressers. IDtech 6 Wolfenstein should be quite scrumptious.

I leave out DMC5 cause everyone knows I'm super crazy about.

Devil May Cry 5 - I know I said I won't talk about it, but screw that. It's been 9 freaking years since DMC4. Just give me a damn logo already. FFS Capcom.

Mostly focused on what Nintendo will be outlining for the next year - year and a half of the Switch. I've really been enjoying that console for Zelda/Mario Kart, hope they have a ton to supplement it with beyond Mario this fall.

I'm pretty satisfied with the output for PS4 through 2018, less concerned about what they have to show.

I hope to see Pokemon Stars for the switch and Crash Team Racing as the new remaster from Sony.

I dream of Capcom announcing Pocket Fighter 2 as a smash close with only capcom characters and Virtual Console Arcade coming back with CPS2, Triforce, NAOMI and others.

I predict we will see Smash 4 Switch with all the 3ds+WiiU stages and modes and DLC+Ice Climbers and that Shenmue 3 and FF7 Remake will be shown again since they will still be in development for a while

Microsoft

Hopes:
They don't do the whole developer talking heads thing about how easy it is to develop for and how supportive MS is. Usually drags on way too long.
Competitive price.
No Scorpio exclusives

Dreams:

Scalebound saved, Platinum still working on it.
New Age of Empires
Lost Odyssey 2

Predictions:
Crackdown 3 is a Scorpio launch title
Quantum Break 2 Tease

Sony

Hopes:
PSN name change
FFVIIR Part 1 release date
Shenmue 1/2 Remaster

Dreams:
Death Stranding gameplay
Bloodborne 2
Legend of Dragoon Remake or sequel
Onimusha
DMC 5

Predictions:

A bunch of release dates of titles shown in the last year or 2
Several "available now"
RDR2
Spider-Man gameplay

Nintendo

Hopes:

Full virtual console for Switch, everything from previous generations including the handhelds.

Predictions:
I expect them to focus on 2 games at a time with the Switch. Show Zelda - Reveal Mario, Show Mario - Reveal Metroid with other lower budget games/3rd party sprinkled in.

Was hoping to see Halo 6, but unless they're telling straight up porkies, that's not happening. I'll settle for Nintendo's E3 direct where they announce an expansive Virtual Console.

Hopes:
Big Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer with release date, From Software new ip soulsborne like but with a different dark fantasy setting, maybe something a bit more modern? No idea.
And PC Ports, far fetched stuff like Persona 5 and KH on PC.

DMC 5

Predictions:
Scorpio reveal with dissapointing price, will target the high end pc market and it will flop(Market analyst /s).
Nintendo will follow sony on 1st party SP quality games and may drop some bombs...(Metroid I am looking at you).

From my perspective, this could be the most interesting E3 in a while. The big 3 all have pretty big stakes. Microsoft has to show why the Scorpio will be worth the 400 or 500 dollar upgrade and they NEED to show new exclusives. They really don't have any sort of advantage when compared to Playstation's lineup, especially considering Playstation's exclusive agreements with Destiny and Call of Duty. The Switch needs to keep up its momentum with Mario and other new announcements since Mario is really the only announced game they have this holiday. And Sony has been on a hot streak and they already have released lots of first class exclusives this year and they still have GOW, Spider Man, Uncharted the Lost Legacy, Death Stranding, Detroit, Last of Us 2, Days Gone. Im looking forward to all conferences and will actually be going to E3 this year so I can't wait to try out some of the games announced. Especially since a lot of the games from Microsoft and Nintendo will be surprises.

- A short trailer for Fire Emblem Switch
- Full blown reveal for Xenoblade 2

Hoping: a good first E3 for the Switch. Retro's Project should be revealed and we will get a Xenoblade 2 trailer confirming december so everyone can stop saying it's not releasing in the west this year.

Dreams: it would happen at Tales of Festival, but anyways: Tales of Symphonia 3 for Switch. Dawn of the New World never happened, original cast + new characters, new story, etc. And local multi too, obviously.

Last year, Microsoft's conference was a dud outside of hardware announcements. Here's hoping they've got not just the Scorpio, but games people will be excited about.

Sony just needs to stay the course, although maybe they should put more emphasis on the PS4 Pro and less on VR.

Nintendo just needs to show that 2018 has games.

Why? VR is offering new experiences. Pro isn't.

That's the exact opposite of what I've heard ppl want. E3 doesn't bring some psvr titles that thing will be labeled as dead unfortunately they need to announce some titles and I'm also not sure on you prioritize one over the other very much anyway. You show pro footage and announce new psvr titles

I'm just looking at market trends and seeing interest in 4K content growing and interest in VR content slowing. If they have big, meaty VR titles then they should focus on them. If all they've got is the short "experiences" they've had at other conferences, I'd spend that time on stage making a case that the PS4 Pro can basically go toe-to-toe with Scorpio and has more/better exclusives.

Bronetta

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Sony will have tbe megatons as always but Im most curious to see what Nintendo's gonna announce.
