Im happy with my previous sets, also doesnt appear the art books are included. :( I loved the artwork with my two sets.

My Hero Academia Episode 21 - It's been a while since I read this part of the manga, but it definitely feels like Bones expanded on a lot of these fights here. No complaints since they did a good job with the quirks usage. I know the manga left it vague whether or not Ibara was actually a Christian, so I cracked up here that hymns started playing in the background when she talked about her motivations for being a hero. Mei Hatsume is bae. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Attack on Titan Episode 33 - I haven't read this portion of the manga so I'm surprise by the sudden breather episode here. This episode finally made me come around to finding Eren's bullheadedness endearing.

Re:Creators Episode 7 - For the most part, I've actually started to warm up to this series. My main issue now is the protagonist. Fucking Sota is the worst; his motivation makes absolutely no sense and plot has given 0 justification or explanation for why he continues to withhold information from the others.

An occultic 9 dub?! Yo! That's actually an interesting proposition. It was easily one of last year best anime.

Really curious on how well they will be able to do Gamotan justice.

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Period. Ever. At this point I'm willing to watch even shows from the 80s. As long as they make me think and go 'whoa'

Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Dennou Coil
Time of Eve
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Along Complex
Wings of Honneamise
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
Mononoke (not Princess Mononoke, just Mononoke)
Ping Pong
Millenium Actress
Kino's Journey
Showa Genroku Rakugo

100% Teacher Pascal Episode 6

The melted Kanemori Steeeeeve kun could have been explained otherwise, lol, May Sickness is probably favorite so far.

The english section, didnt realize "Ah, hold me tight," if said a certain way could also be aho mitai, lol

They reused the pose end of episode :(

I don't know how an English dub for Occultic;Nine will be possible, considering they speed talked through 3/4 of that series.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Occultic;Nine but holy crap I hard a hard time keeping up with the subtitles on that show. It was like they recorded all the dialogue then 1.5x it.

Wish the other class members battles lasted more than 5 seconds, but still pretty fun. Looking forward to the next fight against Bakugo.

Watched the Blame! Movie on Netflix - as well as the various Blame! shorts made in years prior. Well...hmm. It's all super-intriguing and I love the look of it, but none of what I watched covered enough material to satisfy. I haven't read the manga, but everything I've seen adapted into anime thus far feels very surface-level. Like it alludes to so much more, yet it never gets around to any of it. Like this should have been a series, or a longer movie, or a different more involved part of the story entirely. I dunno. The new movie felt like half of a movie and everything before it felt like trailers for a movie that never happened.

Those must have been the best rations ever.

Dennou Coil 6-7

Seems like the show has turned episodic, but there's still character development, world building and important plot points in abundance. Awesome.

Cardfight!! Vanguard G Next Episode 26 Return of the Vanguard!! (engdub)

Are people in asia really that impressed when people come here to America for college? Surely there are astrophysics and cosmology research in Asia? Though maybe its just Chrono and Kamui being extremely easily impressed.

Loved seeing all our old friends, Morikawa!!! Aichi!!! Miwa!!!

Aniplex announcing more stuff I don't care about. Where's my Mushishi S2 set, eh? At least let someone else licence it from you!

Jesus Christ, that gif Jarmel...

The anatomy on that girl looks all kinds of wrong.
Like her shoulders are dislocating from her body.

Well there is one more episode.

For all I know the next one is gonna immediately begin with this hug which will result in all of them falling down receiving injuries that end their gunpla careers.

That would be a pretty dark ending tho...

And like Madoka and Magi sets too.

Wonder what other older releases they'll do a cheaper consolidated release of, since they've burned through a lot of their more popular shows now. Maybe KLK, or a standard release of Durarara S1?

KLK and Nisekoi are my guesses.

My Hero Academia 21 -
This arc has been really well done. I definitely liked it in the manga but I think the anime makes it even more fun to watch.

Granblue Fantasy 8 -
Show always gives me a lot of classic JRPG vibes. It's not gonna win any best anime awards or anything, but it's consistently enjoyable I think. Probably one of the best video game animes (that's not a visual novel adaptation) so far, though that's not really saying much lol.

Eromanga Sensei 7 -
So this chick has only met the main dude like 2 times (and maybe like 30 minutes total) and she's already in love him, that's some serious bull shit lol. Like I get with these kind anime the relationships don't tend to get that built up that well and do feel forced at times, but this one seems a little too forced. I felt like Oreimo did a better job of this but maybe I'm remembering wrong. Not to say that Oreimo is the pinnacle of romance or anything either however.

Nisekoi was something I thought about, and maybe they'd at least do one for season 1, which wasn't even a full 24 episodes. Nisekoi Season 2 BD releases haven't even been released for a full year yet, which is why I hesitated to include it.

But yeah, I think you're right in that it could be a good one.

Sawano's score in the second season of Attack on Titan is worth mentioning for how great it's been. It's a bit more lowkey but still retains that classic Sawano charm(lol). It's sort of funny contrasting it with his work on Re:Creators which just feels like him half-assing it.

The piano piece in this week's episode was fantastic.

A Silent Voice/Koe no Katachi

Being a fan of the manga hindered my enjoyment of the movie, sadly. Could only think about how odd the pacing was, how many of the scenes don't flow into each other, how the stuff they cut from the manga leads to some characters not really serving a purpose in the movie or having rushed character development, and how they needed more time to flesh things out. Would have worked better as a TV series.

Would still recommend people check it out though when they can. Would like to see more people's opinions on the movie. Might write a more extensive review later on once I've collected my thoughts more.

AoT - 33

Even when there is less action this show manages to be pretty damn good. That ending with all of the scouts heading to the forest was pretty hype.

An episode of friendships.

Up to date on that now, excellent episodes. Will probably do MHA S2 or AoT S2 next.

First will try to watch this Blame! movie before Samurai Jack's last episode.

Re:Creators Episode 7

Surprised Sota is afraid of showing people his drawings, when Altair actually looks pretty good. Unless he has some past of being criticized for art or something...though perhaps based on the description he gives of Altair he had some type of depressing low self esteem sort of fit.

Magane needs to get out of the plot fast so we can return back to the Military Uniform Princess plot, I think she is far better of an antagonist.

I also like the war of the sides part as well interesting way to have a multi universe clash.

There's some choir stuff but that's not really limited to Sawano. Hayashi used that briefly in MHA S2 this season.

Yeah I'm kidding around. His style is very distinctive. I'm not particularly familiar with japanese musical artists, but I remember immediately recognizing the Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer music as sounding similar to something like in Attack on Titan.

Dragon Ball Super just introduced a magical girl. Just a straight up magical girl.

DAT1_Ll_ZVYAAT29_T.jpg

The best part is, if the opening is anything to go by, Vegeta is gonna have to fight her.

The OP theme he did for Re:Creators is dope as hell tho, probably my favorite opening of the season.

Well if she is an actual magical girl then all rules go out the window.

Its well known that you can be as strong as Superman or Goku but get fucking destroyed by a magic user because its magic they don't gotta explain shit

Monster Strike Season 2 Episode 8

All the time in these people are shocked that adults would play MS. I guess maybe its true Im sometimes surprised when I see older adults with gameplaying electronics and what not.

GBF Episode 8

I always love the brief moments of insights into Gran and Vryn's past through random events. Though Gran was a loner? What, he didnt seem the team, seems like he'd be everyones friend.

Sword was good find.
