The context of Mario being their biggest headliner game for this entire year, nevermind the fact that its Mario period. Yeah I'm sure the biggest set piece they bring to e3 will be xenoblade 2 lol

If Angel's Ascent is real I'm not sure how I feel about Platinum developing it. It's' not that I dislike them (the opposite!) but I feel like you could do a one time reunion studio or something for that, even if Treasure itself isn't really a company anymore. Platinum could make things that are completely Platinum.

But I don't think it's real by virtue of the fact I don't think unrevealed games that don't require such a large space would be set up yet. That gives way too much time for leaks.

Sony makes good Camera equipment. And they don't compete in that area.

Pretty sure he stated "looks like Platinum?" so it wasn't confirmation from the poster either. Might just be the style felt Platinum. But we'll see I guess!

I feel kind of differently about that. I love Treasure to death but there was a big "feel" difference between the two S&P games. I'm perfectly good with letting Platnium give it a shot. Besides, we should NEVER be getting another S&P. No-one fucking bought it. :/

And that Pilotwings + Wave Race game is completely dope, if real. I actually really liked Pilotwings on the 3DS so another entry, even if set on Wuhu Island, is cool with me.

I also missed it and would be fine with that. They are supposedly focusing on 2017 and really they arleady have a packed lineup in in the second half compared to the last several years.

I think people may be a little overhyped expecting new announcements at e3. I think the traditional January Direct will have those types of announcements and for that reason could be more interesting since we don't know a lot about 2018 games.

A platinum games Sin and Punishment 3 is not that far fectched... Platinum was on the list of developers working on Switch and sin and punishment is a series nintendo doesn't want to die, no one ever expected the wii sequel. I just hope if it's true it stays mostly like sin and punishment and doesn't become too much like other platinum games.

Edit: worth noting that even if accurate, just because something isn't on the show floor doesn't mean it's not going to be announced in the Spotlight/PR/Treehouse.

Are people really believing that leak because they said the booth was Mario themed? That was kind of a given when it was the only title they named when announcing their E3 plans, and Mario being their biggest franchise. Not exactly hard to guess, especially after last year.

Biggest tip off that that is fake is that the only Wii U port is #FE. Not only can I see that being way too unsuccessful to port, but also does anyone really think they don't have at least 1 more game;s Deluxe version to announce? DK:TF, SM3DW, Bayo series, Mario Maker, Pikmin 3? Even XCX is more likely imo. And no, pokken doesnt count since it's in TPC's domain and not first party.

I agree completely. Out of all games they could port, that would be the least likely one. Even Wonderfull 101 would make more sense.

I know a 8chan dude that was setting up the Nintendo booth 14 days ago for E3 and he said there was going to be a large setup for the new Mario.

Dude is super legit. I'll dish out the other leaks he had soon.

So with E3 being open to public this year, how long will the lines be for the Nintendo booth? I say the line will be closed within 10 minutes of the hall opening and you may be sitting there for 5 hours

Another thing I think was mentioned about the 4ch leak is that the booths likely wouldn't have been up by when it was posted, or something to that effect. Unsure if that is correct, though.

That leak is fake of course. Every leak that includes even some slight fanboy drivel is 99% fake. Funny thing is that made-up list has very likely more stuff on the showfloor that in reality because nothing screams disappointing about that. What exactly are people expecting playable on the Nintendo showfloor?

Yeah, it looks like they're just starting to put stuff up, but that 4chan post makes it sound like everything was already up.

That post also feels like it's just trying to replicate the pre-Switch conference leak, even down to saying there's a game that looks like Platinum.
