Can't get hyped for something that's supposedly shared universe and Destiny-esque. Not even for my ultimate gaming love, #BioWare.

But maybe tomorrow (and the coming year) will change my mind.

Yeah, the trailer seemed about as generic of a mashup of other popular games (Horizon/Destiny) as you could get. And based off of the leaks about how this will play and how EA has set it up as more an action game than a proper RPG, that's just not what I want and/or expect out of a BioWare game.

I'm not coming to a BioWare game for amazing visuals and tight gameplay. If they're there, that's fine, but I'm playing a BioWare game for a great story and great characters and all that RPG stuff you expect. Considering those have been lacking in recent BioWare titles to varying extents and how this is getting pitched... well, I guess I can hope they don't turn Dragon Age 4 into an online loot shooter.

Maybe they have some variety in the gameplay loop and more than 10 enemy types. That would by default make it more interesting than Destiny.

Respawn doesn't belong to EA and Titanfall is Respawn's IP. Bioware belongs to EA and Anthem is their IP. Totally different situation. EA doesn't do exclusives.

I can't say I'm excited at all really. I'll wait to see gameplay tomorrow but the setting, supposed "Destiny-like" style and even the name (I know, but Anthem's not great) aren't getting me enthused at all.

I expect a Destiny DLC type deal. Something longer then the typical 30 days like COD. No one from Sony is allowed to utter the games name on a stage or in a press release.

I for one am excited. One thing I don't like about Destiny and Mass Effect is that they are set in space. This one seems to be set in an interesting planet. Looks cool.

I seriously doubt it'll be exclusive as that would sorely limit its reach and franchise potential. They want this to be huge like Destiny or The Division, not just 'okay' like Titanfall.
