I'm surprised they're actually going through with it after all.

But I'm not playing Monster Hunter on a non-portable ever again, so I'll be skipping this one.

It looked nice graphically but the lack of actual combat has me worried. I don't want to follow some light and then trigger some scripted environmental interactions.
I need to see what fighting monsters actually looks like.

This looks like it wants to be an AAA game without a real AAA budget.

Anyway, I'm more bemused by this than anything else, but maybe Capcom isn't vastly overestimating the sales they'll get in the West and it'll work for them, idk.

Man that sure was different to what I thought I'd see. Dissapointed that we didn't see any actual Monster Hunting instead glowy item gathering and cinematic mumbo jumbo. Hopefully the other part of the runour is true and we'll see an actual MH in line with previous ones on switch.

Look a lot better than whatever they put out for 3DS.

It finally happens. MH is back to Sony console.

I mean remove the switchaxe and rathalos and you could get away with telling me it was a different game series altogether. That did not look like a main series MH ala 3 and 4 Ultimate.

Also it's been confirmed for XBO and PC too :lol

Yeah, I'm hoping they show more combat because it looked quite basic so far.

Visually it's nice, but that gameplay is pretty ehh. Will consider getting it, after inevitably seeing more in the future.

As a MH fan, that looked real, real trash to me. It's "prettier", but the gameplay looked so much worse (and frankly even graphically, that Trex thing looked pretty damn bad to me in terms of monster design). Ugh

PC version coming?

Might play on Xbox tho since I know my friends will play there. I can only hope for cross-platform play.

Visually it looked like they made some effort on the monsters but the world looked very lacking in traditional Capcom style

They will NOT announce a new MH game with a fucking minute long teaser.

Did they promise gameplay or more details at the showfloor or whatever?

I assume those posters are talking about the actual gameplay, as it is definitely going for something different.

I'm excited though. I'll always take more MH.

I don't think this is a big deal to be honest since we. An play the official MH on the switch and then this new one on PS4BONE or PC.

That's what I plan on doing at least.

I was expecting something as awful as the Devil May Cry reboot and thankfully it doesn't look like that but eh I dunno some of it looked cool and some of it looked really worrying.

They really need to show some extended gameplay. It's entirely possible it could still play like MH because the player character did jack shit the whole time.
