lol seriously.

trying to get ready to work while watching so it was frustrating trying to catch a glimpse of how HBG works now. Seems like they were showing off a ton of different shots, wyvern fire, that gatling shot that appears to be on a cooldown. I like the look and sound of the HBG at least.

There were some crag and pellet shots in there. Also one where they shot an explosive shot into the air that came down on the monster. Didn't look like they could move when they did that.

Whelp those who wanted prowler mode might want to check out Hammer now..

the felyne was so adorable~ and it starts with a shovel and miner outfit xD

wonder does that mean the starting village is themed as such?

my god much HYPE.

I really like the look of this location (Ancient forest) traveling almost all the way up that big old tree in the middle. Cant wait to see the other locations!

edit: I wonder what the village looks like and what theme it has. Since the story is that this is a new land they are exploring I would imagine it to be a port settlement type of town.

I have no idea if this is supposed to look good or not for the franchise veterans.

It looks like Monster Hunter with more polished vertically and some QoL upgrades. Now that we know they didn't fuck with any of the core combat elements it's a lot more comfortable to get excited for.

Of course this ruins the joke about them moving to mobile then watches them microwave displays in order to keep that samey asset pool until the end of time but everything ends at some point, I guess

I hope there's a big enough PC base when it launches.

The Portable team is still free to make Monhun for the TI-86.

I hope that the PC port is well optimized, since this looked like nothing out of the ordinary for MT Framework. Just mostly more/better particles.

Guys, I recorded the full gameplay demo and am in the process of uploading it to mega.

It's nearly 3 gigs, but for you guys that want to focus on each weapon separately shown in their tiny sub-screens, it'll be worth it.

Still not sure how I feel about the scout flies, but I do like the idea of tracking the monster.

Looks so good though!

Did the stream stay in relatively high quality for you?

It got fuzzy near the end for me

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
An actually great looking Monster Hunter ass Monster Hunter. Only took 8 years.

The environmental stuff just seems way too convoluted. Could be just this map, but it looks like it'll get in the way of the actual hunting. Until you get sick of it.

Otherwise it's okay.
