Where are the adults in the room? How are the people around him not deeply concerned about his behavior? Why aren't more people resigning? Are Republicans really that willing to turn a blind eye, simply for the opportunity to push some long sought after policy pieces? I feel like we are living in a cartoon.

Real world lessons, son. This is how people get ahead: selfish attachment to others while being indifferent or blissfully ignorant of the consequences

I knew already that's how the real world worked. But I admit I was surprised that it would work for a president considering the constant media eye. Never would have guessed the media would be swept under the rug in one clean swoop of fake news with half the country agreeing. I just didn't know that many people were that stupid

The Soviet Union huh? What a coincidence!

The American people failed HER.

Well not the ones that had enough common sense to vote for her but the point is made.

And yet she got more votes than both Trump and Bernie.

I gotta love how Hillary is apparently a pathetic failure for losing to Trump, yet in the twisted mind of a Bernie Bro the same doesn't apply to Sanders for losing to Hillary, who according to them was a terrible candidate..

If anything... it makes Bernie an even bigger pathetic failure than she was.

It's mostly about holding Hillary to a higher standard than any candidate in major party history. Nobody blamed Gore this much. Nobody blamed Romney, or Kerry, or whoever.

But Hillary loses something? Time to piss and moan about her until the end days.

Special thanks for this tweet to the stalwart caretaker and defender of Bernie Sanders and all he stands for: one Donald Trump.

Great job, buddy. That's one more baby step towards single payer!

Seriously though, the only time he's been successful at keeping the left divided is by pushing this narrative and he knows it.

I am certainly aware of the role of sycophants; there is no need to patronize. But there is the status quo, with all the self interest and compromised morals, and then there is this cartoonish version of it that we are seeing today. This is not business as usual.

"Just cast my 3rd party vote. I'm totally confident Clinton will win."

"I also recognize that voting 3rd party takes away from Hillary. Won't make me vote for her though. I'm not voting for a candidate I dislike."

"I put a lot of weight on candidate's foreign policy as well and I think Hillary will be worse than Trump..."

"I don't make a distinction between Bush and Obama or a Trump and Hillary. In fact, I think Obama is actually WORSE than Bush. But at least with Bush, things were more overt. It's like the differences between dejure Jim Crow and defacto Jim Crow (redlining, steering, etc). Nothing really changed, but the most dangerous part of the latter is that, to some, it represented "progress" since the discrimination wasn't so overt."

"It only takes one accident. Just one. Where US downs a Russian plane or Russia downs a US plane and it could escalate. I don't think this scenario would play out now. But once Hillary gets in, I expect the chance of things getting out of control much higher."

"Basically, whether Hillary or Trump, we'll still have the same fascist elements in place and there will be the same amount of human suffering as there is now. The only difference is more people would see and be aware of it with Trump. It would be behind the scenes with Hillary (like it is with Obama)"

"She'd be Bush 3.0 though... 2.0 was Obama."

"I'm not voting in national elections anymore. I've totally given up on this (for a variety of reasons). I don't feel the need to participate any longer."

"I'm not necessarily opposed to Trump being elected..."
Hahahaha welp

LOL. That Soviets connection is pretty dang amazing and perfect

Hillary's going to be fine. The American people failed the American people.
This. Hillary is mostly gonna be unscathed except to her pride, but the millions of people losing their health insurance, among others are going to be those that are strongly affected.

This seems a bit much don't you think?
I can see what he means. American people had only one job: stop Trump from getting elected. The only way, the ONLY way to do that, was to vote Clinton. Nothing else would have worked. This is a fact. They had one job, and many simply failed to do so. In a way, they deserve Trump and wouldn't deserve a smart, experienced person like Clinton. Too bad they're dragging the rest of the American people down with them in the gutter.

And were enthralled to elect a man as openly racist and xenophobic as they were!

they thought electing Trump would bring about a sea change like they imagine Civil Rights did(the still ongoing struggle for such...)

We had people walking around just looking for their racism incident so they could show the world a new sheriff was in town. "trump is president so now you have to go back to your own country".

I just didn't know that many people were that stupid

I still don't know what to do with the knowledge that so many people in this country are just stupid. How do you even fix that? Are we really stuck placating them forever? Tricking a huge part of our population into saving itself? Now I view a huge part of my countrymen as...i don't even know what to call them...Maybe I'm just getting older and bitter or maybe I've just lost hope but I can't imagine not feeling disgusted by the people around me anytime soon. That feeling of disgust is the start of something bad also. Maybe something worse than Trump. People legit are happy to see these idiots suffer because of the bad decisions they've made. I can't really help but agree despite the sinking feeling I get from it.

Let's lay out the evidence for Clinton "collusion." People that agree with Trump here can feel free to add.

Most importantly, the primary debate scandal was severely cut down. This shows the DNC expected an easy Clinton win, although it was decided before Bernie was even a blip so it's not an attack on his campaign.

DNC staffers didn't like Bernie and speculated about, but didn't implement, dirty tricks to use against him.

Bernie was lightly punished after one of his staffers hacked DNC records.

Donna Brazille unethically shared a debate question or two with the Clinton camp.

Hillary and the DNC didn't cave to some of Bernie's desperate last-minute demands for things like more debates.

Hillary supporters unfairly blew up an incident where Bernie supporters got rowdy and a guy had to be talked out of throwing a chair as a wild chair-throwing brawl.

Superdelegates existing and backing front runners instead of giving the election to Bernie, damn the vote count, because he was allegedly more electable in the general.

That's all I can remember right now.

Those show definite favoritism, for sure, but I think to meet the bar for collusion you'd have to show Hillary didn't just benefit from, but also coordinated with the DNC on those things. That's the same evidence that needs to be proven to lock up Trump, that he coordinated with Russia.

But he said there was NO COLLUSION.

Why is he comparing himself to Hillary when he wasn't under investigation, not there is a on going investigation.

This fucking moron. This statement basically reads, because someone else did it, I should be able to aswell.

If I were ever this egotistical, I'd be fed by now.

Their team won. This is why I'm fucking sick of hearing about "Most Republicans are good people." They will turn a blind eye to ANYTHING Trump does, no matter how despicable. If there were any sane Republicans, they've sold their souls completely. They're no longer good people and every one of them has to go.

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I'm taking this as confirmation that Trump indeed colluded with Russia.

"Every one else can do it why can't I "

The primary was stolen tho

If I never had to hear about 2016 ever again I would not be that upset.

at this point, the orange jujubee shouldn't have the right to toss the election and the campaigns around and eat off of them.
he should be reluctant to mention them.

As if you'd use what happened in Nevada as evidence of bias against Sanders.... Are you serious?

It honestly depresses me at this point that anyone is dumb enough to believe that.

The only thing this election taught me was never underestimate the stupidity of the average American voter. However dumb you imagine they are, they are somehow dumber.

Bernie had zero chance of winning no matter what the DNC did because he took Southern Democrats (black folks) for granted. Basically didn't campaign there or spend there. Insane.

Knowing Trump's psyche this tweet is what he'd say when he knows evidence of collusion with the Russians is coming to light soon; of course it is a massive false equivalence.

His campaign colluded with our greatest enemy that was and is committing acts of cyber warfare against the USA. Treason.
