We already knew, but we finally have proper confirmation,

That's great, hopefully this will make third parties join the fun. Tricky part is making multiplat games now.

Congrats on the success, Nintendo. And ARMS being within striking distance of 1 2 Switch (a launch game) in sales after a little over a week is rather impressive.

Before Splatoon even.

We're just getting started

That must be the most successful bomberman... like..ever.
awesome

I hope Konami takes notes and releases a castlevania compilation.
LOL

Nintendo should go third party though, clearly, they don't have a future with their own hardware.
I wish I bought stock in Nintendo when everyone was doubting them, I saw this coming.

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
Yah but imagine how much more they will sell if there's no artificial scarcity /s

Please help me with my bad english
And Splatoon 2 is coming out in less than a month. The momentum is there for 3rd parties to ride upon.

I know Bomberman R is just kinda okay-ish, but it makes me so happy to see how well the game has sold~ I'm dreaming the impossible dream that it'll result in more Hudson IP revivals from Konami/Nintendo.

Believes Dragon Quest is a franchise managed by Sony
Zelda doing so well is the biggest surprise.

It was literally the biggest game at launch for anyone to buy, of course it would sell with the system

I know zelda selling in japan isn't guaranteed, but this is on a handheld and its new, i think its pretty obvious.

Good on nitnendo for the japanese sales, this will hopefully build up a player base for PS4/Switch ports so they can keep sales stable both at home and abroad

It's still kinda sorta under performing there considering it is the best game ever made.

Cue eye roll

Not sure how it compares to the sales of other Zelda games in Japan, but I kind of wanted to see Japan take to the series a bit more now that the latest main line 3D game is on a portable.
And what would they gain with that? It would affect sales of 3DS ver. of the game.
Being at the launch of a popular handheld launch probably wouldn't of been a negative at least. Don't see MHXX selling better with how Capcom handled it than if they did that.

I think downplaying this game's success in Japan is pretty funny. There was absolutely no guarantee it was going to sell this well.
