Disaster Report 4 Plus has over 60 characters, attire affects survival rate

Saw no one had posted about it. No scans so...

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has a few new details and screenshots of Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories.

Players can customize the protagonist’s gender, name, face, hair, and clothes at the beginning of the game.

The story is set in July, 20XX. An earthquake occurs as the player is on their way to a job interview in the city. The player must try to escape the collapsed city while cooperating and having conflicts with other characters, and gathering information.

You’ll move forward while keeping your hunger and bathroom usage in check. More than 60 characters will appear. Each has a story that involves the protagonist. Your survival rate will change significantly depending on what you’re wearing. For example, removing stockings will reduce burn damage, and breaking the heels of your pumps will make it easier to move.

Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories is in development for PlayStation 4.

I love keeping my bathroom usage in check so I'm tentatively optimistic about this game.

I played the first one but lost focus and didn't finish it. It is a great concept so hopefully this game improves and refines it into something special!

The first Disaster Report is awesome but is marred by low difficulty and being too high concept for PS2. That frame-rate drops faster than most of the buildings. I'm really excited to see this coming out at all, especially after Item pulled out of games after 2011 and the Tokyo Earthquake and everything. Hope it comes out over here at least, even digitally.

Perhaps someone who wears pumps on a regular basis can answer this: would snapping the heels off actually make it easier to walk? I mean, it's not like they suddenly turn into practical flats, aren't they slanted in such a way as to orient themselves to the ground only with the heel intact? Wouldn't they be curved weirdly if you snapped the heel off?

Yes, these are the things I choose to spend my thinking time on.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Disaster Report/Raw Danger is my favorite janky game series of all time, more so than Deadly Premonition.

Tell me more about DR 4! Loved the hell out of 1 and 2 and every little bit of info reminds me that this game hadn't been canceled yet

Yes, the more localized games, the better. Gamers need more diversity when it comes to genres.
