Don't expect anything today, it will be at an event. Things rarely coincide with movies, especially this close to release with little PR buildup time.

Yeah, when the zip leak hit and we've come to the realization that it's a combination of that with Ryce. It's looking unlikely, unless there was a big shift at some point to rework who was getting in (If all these characters aren't in the story mode).
Really hope closer to launch when we know the vase roster, if things aren't said. We get some answers. No ones asking for 50:50 split or for this to be Women of Marvel & Capcom. But not even a 1:4 ratio is pretty bad.
Hopefully Monster Hunter is a black female character. Wouldnt fix everything. But it'd be a start.

The big time suits are better tron variants for Spider-man than that costume, to me. too busy
Moon Knight looks cool, but a bit excessive, maybe? Like adding something cool to something already cool sorta cheapens it a bit, maybe?

Played the game today at Montreal comic con. It was a versus build, and I picked Thanos and Ultron.
It actually turned me around on the look and feel of the game. I had a good time, and visually both of those characters look great.
Gameplay-wise, I think I like it better than 3.
I'm still sour on how bad Cap looks, though. Just terrible.

The funny part would be that Capcom took a ton of bad press for no reason.
And it would truly show how bad they are with PR. They did absolutely nothing to curb it.

Not much you can do to rationalize the things on the internet. Not much they could have done. People have found something to bitch about with this game at every turn. Justified or not.
I personally don't think companies should respond to leakers. Don't know that they do very often.

Shuma has been in 3 games he shouldn't have even been considered for.....considering that factor....he still has a shot in my opinion
and the bad press thing:
Capcom doesn't usually respond to leaks or speculation and its probably a good thing since considering what they've said recently...somehow they probably would have made it all worse

They shouldn't respond to said leak head on. But when it sets that much of a precedence. You gotta at least show off something to curb people. Guess they thought waiting until the story demo would do that.

They shouldn't do a PR statement, but if I were Capcom PR I would have tried to push out a teaser for a character not on the list to throw doubt on it. Before the zip leak, imagine if Capcom had put out a Dormammu picture. It's all about plausible deniability.

Yeah, it's weird cause normally when leaks happen they don't have a negative responses. For example, Assassin's Creed Origins & Mario Rabbits, you just couldn't stop the leaks and and I don't think they hurt those games at all.
That panel is longer than I expected time wise.
That's surprising. Curious what they'll reveal/announce (particularly RE: modes).
Yeah, they have to start unveiling modes at this point.

Well it is obvious what is going to happen. The thing to bare in mind is that EVO happens one week BEFORE Comic Con. As such, chances are that we are going to get a double dose (if any) of Marvel. Question though would be if they are going to have two seperate reveals in terms of characters, or if they will drop their next trailer to show the next set of characters while the "Comic Con" panel will only have the updated build and will cover what has already been revealed. Again, would be happy to be proven wrong here, but I feel like this is what's going to happen for this month.
Hell knows though that Capcom needs to be doing a better job at selling the game at this point if we are moving into the home stretch for the game's release.

There are some moves that still have DP motions in the game.
Are there characters other than ryu that have it? Either way majority of DPs have been replaced and that guy was still being an idiot in that situation.

like, it's a basic platitude that you can't really please everyone but if you're seeing capcom's marketing of this game as just that, i really dunno what to say. it's such a bizarre stance given the game should be selling itself based on it's pedigree and branding
