Pardon the bump! Got one of these babies recently, it's been kinda collecting dust - but after much aggravation, I was finally able to get Xmame running on it tonight. Looks and plays wonderful.

My issue is, many games (in Xmame) only seem to wanna run in portrait. I can't stand holding it and playing that way. In the options I try to tell it to force landscape, but after I hit Start, it crashes every time. Am I screwed (for now?))

Yeah I know this topic is pretty dead for a reason, I was just hoping someone would see this. I find it hard to believe that 99% of gaf has no idea about this issue?

Alternatively, is there a better handheld solution for Mame at this point otherwise, I wonder..?

Mine is sitting in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. Have you checked over at the dingoonity boards?

No r2 or l2 and the start and select buttons look to be easily bumped by my thumb going for the face buttons. Neat idea but needs a bit of tweaking. I'll keep Rockin my Gpd win for now, but I'll watch this to see where it goes.

It's pretty nice! Feels a little cheap and plasticy , but not off-putting at all. Someone kept posting shots of it on Instagram so I finally caved and hunted one down on eBay. The screen is just beautiful, the big deal for me was the proper resolution which I've never seen on a device like this before.

I'm not too sure what the state of the scene is these days, but there is still some development going on. I feel like I'll need to do some serious time finding what games are a good experience on this thing. I know it's got its haters, and there's definitely a fair amount of issues with it, but it's a cool little device and I like it for what it is.
