Game soundtracks on vinyl | Analogue Gen 33fps

Absolutely. It's funny, Mondo almost always ships out within a week or so (which is pretty much unheard-of with most retailers not named Amazon) so when they don't, people get worried. I wasn't super worried or anything, but more curious about what was causing the delay.

Anyway, I wrote to Mondo last week. They replied today saying it should ship within the week. Also, they don't have Stardew Valley on-hand yet, but they'll ship that out as soon as it arrives. They didn't give an ETA on that one, in case anyone else was waiting on that.

Just FYI, Gamer's Edition are expecting Stardew Valley from the pressing plant this week or next week, so Mondo probably won't have their copies until next week at the earliest.

My Silent Hill vinyl from Mondo Tees was first sent to the wrong post office (Not Monto Tees fault).
Now it has been stuck in transit since july 3.

I'm devastated. :(

My Hero of Time arrived. Perfect condition and I can't believe the little touches they've put on the sleeve. Looks (and sounds!) so good!

I wonder if Sonic Mania won't be a limited release and instead they'll take the orders up front and print to demand.

They've already announced that it will be released in the same format as usual (black, colored, and limited variants). I wouldn't be surprised if the run numbers for all of these are higher than usual, though, but they don't disclose those.

Those are pretty standard prices for the lp60s. Also really not worth if you are planning to play these expensive video game releases. Their quality varies so much and there's a lot of people who have units that have skipping issues for heavyweight records. These are good for anyone who wants to pick up cheaper records and listen to see if they enjoy records but they just aren't consistent enough for me to recommend if you are going to try to play $35+ albums on.

As an east coaster with a full time job and life outside of comic conventions, I fucking HATE that they do this shit.

Me too. I know it's a way to show love to people that are at the con and give them money, and we'll be able to pick one up on the site, but still.

That record looks pretty darn good.

Castlevania IV came in today from Mondo. I guess only the splatter version went out. That would explain why no one I know who ordered the split has even received a shipping notification yet.

At this point, I'm going on vacation for a couple weeks soon, and I almost hope that Mondo takes a few weeks to send my Castlevania IV, hah.

I absolutely agree. and New York Comicon is barely a shadow of this show, especially with stuff like this.

edit: having to ask friends online if they can find that Castlevania III poster for me is pretty annoying. I find exclusivity and small runs really annoying outside of the reality of actually having to finance a poster or record over and over. Making it Good Because its Rare, though, is very bothersome.

We're still getting an online variant as well so I wouldn't fret too much. They did it with Castlevania last year too.

I know, I spent the money to get the SDCC Castlevania. Doesn't mean I don't want this version too. I just think it's a feel-bad business practice.

Got a shipping and tracking email from DHL and BigWax. Ninja Gaiden box set en route!

Speaking of DHL, I have a question for those that have more experience with them (as a resident of the US I typically don't get a lot of DHL deliveries).

Are they considered bad/good/decent? I've gotten about three packages through them in the past year, and while I haven't ultimately had any packages go missing, I have had to correct my address with them each of those three times. They seem to be unable to get the street number or unit number of my place correct. I thought it was me making the mistake, but I've double-checked my orders with the original companies and I've entered my information correctly all previous times.

Regional offices are probably very different in quality, but my experience with them have generally been very good. They're pretty reliable and typically lets me choose if they should deliver it to my place or at a nearby package station where I can pick it up when it fits my schedule.

DHL in Canada is the worst, and I always seem to get them with Mondo releases. They take forever, they never deliver to the door (Always a nearby post office), and there's always a flat $10 charge. They say they charge it for Taxes/Duty, however I've confirmed that I've never been hit with tax/duty on a shipment from Mondo.

I hadn't started buying vinyls until Out Run last year and regretted missing out on Super Hang-On, which got to be a bit expensive recently. Someone I hadn't really spoken to in YEARS contacted me like a week after I mentioned this on twitter and showed me a record store in Philly he was in just had one for 25 dollars. I ended up driving there from central Jersey just to get it! It was fun to drive somewhere a fair distance to find what seems to be the singular available copy of a record in the entire area!

Got my copy of Super Castlevania IV in today. As someone who wasn't particularly excited for (but not completely against either) the artwork I think it actually came out looking okay. It's got a cartoon feel almost like it would be adult swim's Castlevania.

I'm jealous, that's the sole Data Discs release that's missing from my collection.

Speaking of Data Discs, I just got a shipping confirmation for Altered Beast!

...and DHL already tried to deliver Ninja Gaiden today while I was at work :(
