The only one I wanted was Twilight Princess Link, but I've never seen it available anywhere. First time this has happened to me.

D'oh. Missed the Amazon ones. So much for notifications.

Fuck Game for charging more than the rrp. As a large retailer I don't get why publishers aren't more strict with them on blatantly overcharging/ripping us off for products, especially Nintendo!

Cheers for the heads up. I had completely forgotten about this one! Turns out there's 158 amiibo!

Haha right? There were way more announced at e3 than I'd anticipated too. Not like I'm trying to keep up with Nintendo's software too or anything.

I guess people don't care about the best amiibo this year ;(

Madness! I really like this one too. I don't buy them all but this one is pretty high tier imo

Man it feels like the Zelda stock for the U.K. was absolutely dire. It's really bad when places like cex don't even seem to have them to resell at gouged prices.

Man, our biggest department store/electronic store in Germany really goes nuts with the Zelda Amiibo prices now.

It's like they know exactly how much people want them and for how much they are get sold in the internet and said to themselves "fuck the official list price, we are doing the same now". :D D:

lol wtf

Oh and as a little collection update, I was able to pre order all the new 5 Mario Odyssey Amiibo and the 2 new Metroid Amiibo from Amazon.

And I bought the OOT Link for 28€ 30th anniversary WW Link for 24€ and the Bokoblin for 21€ on eBay.

There is a guy who sells the Japanese Amiibo for a pretty fair price and has world wide delivery.

For BOTW, don't pay too much, they're coming back from time to time (all except Zelda were available today on Fnac.fr it seems)

My Majora's Mask Link amiibo was just cancelled by Nintendo UK. :/ I should have known this would happen when they dispatched the other two early, but not that one. Looks like I'll be paying triple the price on ebay. Jolly.

Just go on looking... It was available this Morning on Micromania website in France, with the other two. It seems there's restocks.

It's getting really tiring having to stalk the internet for several Nintendo products. :(

I'm hoping they don't release any more Zelda amiibos for a while. I'm probably going to avoid the Mario amiibos unless they're available in large quantities and easy to get. I can't be bothered to do this every other month.

I know... I myself spent 4hours visiting nearly a dozen shops on release day to find them, and I consider myself lucky for finding all three.

I would expect the Mario Amiibos to be in larger quantities, but I said the same for Zelda BotW ones...

I would have done the same, but I thought my Nintendo UK order had me covered. :( Wish they had cancelled it earlier.

I guess the silver lining here is that I got the new TP Link and SS Link without having to resort to scalpers lol.

Nintendo UK misjudging stocks seems crazy. Does it happen a lot?

Though I consider myself lucky... A *single* shop had them, and I could easily have come back empty-handed.

It's the first time it's happened to me, but I have seen someone complain about it before. So I guess it's uncommon, but it can happen with very limited items sometimes. I pre-ordered the second time it went up, so I guess they over estimated how many they would get in the second batch.

Hello folks, just wondering if this is the right thread to ask whether there is anywhere that has a particular amiibo in stock for preorder?

Platinum Games made a post on Facebook just now saying Bayonetta amiibos were coming out this month (21st July), I've not really bothered with amiibos before but kind of liked the look of these ones.

Is there anywhere to preorder them, or are the like 5 or 7 or however few Nintendo actually made already spoken for? Because Nintendo hates money apparently.

The preorder phase for those is long gone. Your next best bet is launch day at actual stores.

Nintendo understocked Smash amiibos at the beginning. They overstocked Animal Crossing ones. So it's hard to find the good amount... especially with scalpers going havoc.

You're out of luck for preorders (they go really quick), so you can look for them in shops next week, or wait for the restock. I'm not really worried about Smash ones, they should come back, but if you really want them, you'll have to work a bit.

Hoping for some restocks real soon. Do not want to stick with paying GAME's stupid price, no thanks.

If anyone does have both Bayonettas and AC Cloud, and wants to sell for the usual price, holla at me. Can meet up in London if needed.

I have AC cloud, but it's a game pre order (so £14.99). It's already started being packed. If you want it you're welcome to it for cost + shipping.

Edit: should note I'm only suggesting shipping because it's too late to update the address via Game. :(

Will probably pass. Don't like the fact Game are overcharging deliberately on this.
