So I was looking for a new pair of sneakers because I haven't had a pair in a long time, I only wear my Clark's boots and another pair of black suede shoes (which are slightly too big and I dislike totally black shoes).
After looking through tons of sneakers on Amazon I finally settled on some Gel-Lyte IIIs. I'm not a sneakerhead but they look awesome and were very well reviewed, and one color scheme (Full Bloom) instantly got my attention so I ordered some.
I was wondering why I was so drawn to that color scheme in particular, since it wasn't the most eye-catching (and my friend even said they were ugly, but he doesn't like the style really).
I just realized that I was subconsciously drawn to them because they are colored like a Super Nintendo! Kind of funny. Already ordered them, I don't care who thinks they look funny. I got Super NIntendos on my feet.

Yeah, definitely see the super nintendo colors now that you mention it. Anyway, you really can't go wrong with Asics, though personally I prefer the Gel-Lyte V's. My pair is one of my most worn sneakers.

I was contemplating all of last night whether i should get the olive colored one.

Still not sure. Wont match much of my clothes. Will the 15% email sign up code work on these?

ADC typically excludes any new releases and any really popular models/colorways from discounts. Don't be surprised if codes will never work on these.

Anybody looking to buy some deadstock size 9 Yeezy v2 Breds? I didn't realize the price on these had gone up since release since they seemed so much easier to cop than the others.

Ok doing more research and now im leaning towards getting it.

For NMDs, i know you should go half size down on the PK, but this model is styled like a non PK R1. Should i still size down?

even on pk r1, its still best to try on if you can. I sized down 1/2 size on my nmd cs1 and probably could have gone TTS. I'd only size down if you like a real tight fit.

Copped a pair of Iniki yesterday and can't get over how comfy they are, delighted with my purchase. The Adidas Store in DT Vancouver is closing for renos, so I got them for half price too

Friend told me to just keep trying every 10 mins and it worked. Refreshed that web page soooo much.

Same thing with my Alexander Wang Boosts. The stitching that attaches the heel pull-tab created a hard section on the inside of the lining that was downright painful and gave me a blister day one. Bye, bitch.

Man i gotta rant about sizing nowadays

Im normally an 8.5

So i go to the store to try on a few different pair of shoes that im interested in, but just waiting on the right colors.

Ultraboost: Was told to go TTS or even 1/2 size down. Yeaaaa no. I tried a 9.5 that was on the showfloor that that fit me just fine. WTF. Prolly can do TTS or even a 9. Tried the 8 he handed me, and that was so tight.

NMD R1 PKs: tried the TTS, too big, gotta go with an 8 when i buy.

Nike lunarepic low flyknit 2: 9 fit me right.

EQT Adv: So tight. Tried the 9 and that was still so tight on the upper even with loose laces. When i buy the triple black later, will need to go with 9.5.

Converse: Going 1/2 size down fits me just right.

So my range is an 8 - 9.5?

Thats quite a huge range, and i wouldnt be able to buy any sneakers now without trying in store first. which sucks for limited release shoes. Glad i tried it today, cause i still can't decide if i should go TTS or .5 size up when i get the ultraboost triple grey in a month (when i was told i should go .5 size down).

Primeknit shoes you'd want them tight as they stretch to your feet. Not suffocating right but kinda like a sock.

Converse has always run big (because they're narrow). Adidas is all over the place. They have 0 consistency lol.

Speaking of sizing, got those Gel-Lyte IIIs today, and they're pretty awesome!
Definitely as comfy as the reviews I read said they were, but man am I glad I listened and went up a half size, because even at 12.5 these are really snug (though 13s would be a bit long for my taste).
My boots are 11.5, but they're leather so they stretched quite a bit after wearing them a lot. I also wish I got a style that had mesh because these are thick and kind of hot for summer. Oh well, the colors and otherwise comfort are mostly worth it I guess.
They also make me look like I'm 6'3".

Yeah. Yeezy's are ugly and no Amount of hype will change my mind. Just nasty overrated shoes and those colours do not help.
