To be fair, that was Blizzard's original intent with event skins - to make them rare and coveted, and likely that almost no one would have all of them. I do agree that it's crazy that people whined about that approach to the point that Blizzard made them purchaseable, and now we are back full circle.

They're still rare, like you'll still have to either buy them or get them from lootboxes within the 3 weeks. They're adding new stuff too, so if someone burns 6k to get last years legendaries they'll have less for the new ones.

I think this is the best way to handle it: giving players another chance to earn something without screwing them over with pricing old stuff the same as new stuff.

Im disappointed that they are just doing the same thing. It has been awhile since kings row pve came out. Was really hoping for a back to school theme. Lucioball just made me want to play rocketleague instead. That coming from a Lucio main. Summer games was based on the Olympics, theres no Olympics this year

They were a lot easier to get as a drop in that event anyways. That was like the only event where I didn't even play that much and I got all of them but one of the Tracer skins.

I don't think Heroes is really shipping the type of swimsuits people think of as gacha game swimsuits, except maybe the Tychus speedo, and I don't think he's actually meant to be an attractive character.

On picture it doesn't look good, maybe ingame and from different angles it does look better.
