Ehhhhh, that's a little mean to Colin Farrell. Dude's got loads more acting ability compared to the rest of those goobers.

Can we add him to the list?

It's like a mantra: Jai Courtney, Taylor Kitsch, Luke Evans, Sam Worthington, Colin Farrell, Alex Pettyfer, Scott Eastwood, Joel Kinnaman...

The list of generic ass white guys with zero charisma who can't draw!

amazing to see them all listed like that

Ever Mission Impossible is great, especially given the fact that Cruise has sold us the same basic plot 5 times in a row. How many times will Ethan Hunt have to go rogue?

James Bond has to get dinged for that too. It gets really bad when you marathon the movies back to back.

Die Another Day - Suspended, goes rogue
Quantum of Solace - Rogue
Spectre - Rogue from Scene 1

And now both franchises are trying to give the supporting cast more screentime (and appear smarter than they are) by also doing a "MI/MI6 program is being shut down by the government" subplots.

Lets kick the ballistics, outide of Mark Rufflo and Chris Evans. None of the Avenger men are really sitting the world on fire

Colin Farrell is an excellent actor with the worst agent in the business. Dude is way the hell better than the Scott Eastwood's and Jai Courtney's of the world.

I had a friend suggest that when he's allowed to keep his Irish accent, he's amazingly charming and engaging. The second you make him drop the accent, people just get put off by him.

Da fuck at Colin Farrell in this list. He has the strongest filmography of any hollywood actor this century tbh. Some crap but also some amazing movies

And he's been hella reliable with good performances.

In Bruges made me love the guy.

I'm also a fan of MI:2. It's the least serious of the series but it's so awesome in a schlocky way. The best is Ghost Protocol followed by Rogue Nation.

Kinnaman is also great in The Killing and House of Cards.

Hey guys remember Jason Bourne Jr?

It's Arya's list.

Edit: Wait, Joel Kinnaman is from Sweden?! Dawg, I always thought he was like from the south

How could you forget this handsome man:

I just realized, Gal Gadot has a bigger success as a lead than him, and she's mainly a model. lol

I mean, of course, he's a great actor. I don't think he's the dude you anchor a film on though. There are a ton of great actors and actresses in Hollywood who pull magic out of an ensemble. Mark Rylance won best supporting actor in 2016. He killed it in Dunkirk.

It would take a very specific movie to put Mark Rylance at the center.

LEAVE TAYLOR KITSCH ALONE

Never.

Casting agents have.

Straight goddamn fire.

Colin Farrell?!?

Cmon man.

Is absolutely on the list. Hollywood tried to make him a star time and time again. It did not work.

Oh right! Forgot him completely.

What's Evans doing outside of being the 2nd best of the major Hollywood Chrises (Pine > Evans > Pratt > Hemsworth)?

Random Human

They were trying to grab your prize. They work for the mercenary. The masked man.
If Ryan Reynolds didn't have Deadpool he would be the god of leading men who take bad movies and ruin their careers.

I remember articles in the early 2000's on how Colin Farrell was next up to be this major leading man in Hollywood. So he definitely belongs on your list.

Now he's playing second fiddle to Denzel, a real leading man, in his next film. :p

I mean not like the females are doing much better, did you see ScarJo's 0-2 this year

Yeah, she ate two big old goose eggs back to back this year. I think that dried up the good will from Lucy being a surprise hit. And then over at Marvel, Evangeline Lilly is the co-star of Ant-Man and The Wasp, and Brie Larson's Captain Marvel is coming but no Black Widow solo project. Hopefully BW has some good scenes in Infinity War...

Spielberg tried.

It was creepy.

I totally forgot that was Rylance. I would've totally forgot that movie if it wasn't Spielberg bombing out.

Farrell got such an interesting career. It is true he never really took off as a leading franchise actor or anything, but it was kind of a good thing too because it led to a much more respectable career. The list of directors he's worked with and is continuing to get sought by is flames.

also Chris Evans...setting the world on fire. lmao. aint nobody trying to watch a Chris Evans movie unless he's Captain America. not necessarily talking strictly box office either.

Ruffalo's the guy putting in some decent work outside of marvel right now. Sam Jackson too whenever Tarantino calls.

Oh definitely. Once Hollywood stopped trying to give him pure leading roles, he slotted back where he belongs doing great work.

Jai Courtney and the rest can do the same. They can be the dude on the last spot of love triangle, or the new guy who gets unceremoniously killed when the bad thing happens.

You know what was a weird career move

Paul Bettany trying to be an action star

The fuck was that all about

You know what was a great career move?

Paul Bettany agreeing to do 10 lines in a recording booth for 3 Iron Man movies.

The man's a damn Avenger now.

Until he's brutally murdered in Infinity War.

He is married to Jennifer Connelly, he been blessed long before Marvel

That Priest movie, right?

Isn't that the one where Adrienne Palicki is a pregnant smoker whose child is the AntiChrist or whatever?

Like, I remember that I watched that movie, but I can't remember anything about it other than he was really pale.

Someone should document Hollywood's like last 2 decades attempt at trying to make stars

Hollywood's always going to have more misses than hits when it comes to making stars, because there's no real penalty to anyone except the actor if they fail, and tons of money to be made if they succeed.

Priest and Legion were both directed by the same man: Scott Stewart.

And the freaking SyFy spin-off show that lasted 2 seasons somehow.
