Does anyone know if this game comes with stickers or anything inside the box like the first game?

Hahaha I just asked the same question again on the bottom of the last page. Glad someone else understands the sticker love <3. I haven't seen any unboxing videos.

hell yeah man. Although, not lying, I still have the first collection sealed. I own it digitally as well so I never felt like opening and I probably never will.

Gotch was formed by ex-Rutubo people but they're not the same company, Rutubo still exists and continues to very occasionally work on things.
Right, they're different companies but the same core people who did the Sega ports. Rutubo does server infrastructure and networking now mostly from I can tell but they did make a retro shooter recently with M2 that was also featured in Vita's Yakuza app.

I completely get that! Once I decided to move my PC so it's not out in the open I put the stickers on my PC case. They're accompanied by some excellent Nintendo stickers from 1992 that I bought in a card pack at a garage sale a few weeks ago

I'm guessing there is nothing included because the game is $20 instead of $30 like the original and I don't see mentions of any physical goodies anywhere.

To go with the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 I invite anybody to try the 8-bit demakes of Mega Man 7 and 8.
They faithfully add the 8bit charm back to the episodes 7 and 8 of the Mega Man classic series. The demakes are better than the original releases and permit to rediscover the post-NES episodes and appreciate their design with a more classic feel and gameplay.

There's also only four games on there instead of six

What was the DLC for 9/10? I don't think I ever played it.

9 gives you the following as DLC:
Proto Man (who has charge shot, slide, and bullet deflection using his shield when jumping. Takes double damage)
Endless mode (highly addictive mode where you try and clear as many screens as possible)
Hard & Super Hard mode (new difficulties, basically new enemy layouts and maybe tweaks to game speed? Bosses remain unchanged),
Extra Stage: Fight "Fake Man" in this pretty long original stage.

MM10 gives you;
Endless mode? (I think it returned, I don't remember playing it anywhere near as much if it did...)
Bass as a playable character (RM&F Move set basically)
MM Killer Stages - Face off against 3 awesome DLC stages loosely designed around three of the Gameboy games where you fight Enker, Ballad and Punk (Quint nowhere to be seen!). Awesome arranged music as well.

I had completely forgotten 9 and 10 had DLC. And it was actually some pretty good stuff. Their inclusion makes this collection even better.

Thanks! Very excited to play through this now. Never played MM8 or the DLC for 9 and 10.

Yeah, the DLC for 10 especially was ace. A Proto Man run on MM9 was also pretty fun due to how differently he handles in terms of some of the mechanics (mainly the shield deflections, works even on bosses like Plug Man) but its MM10's extra level DLC that is still my favourites of the bunch, though I remember Punk being one hard S.O.B to beat with your buster.

People amaze me.

Sorry fellas, but the MM8 stage select has been fixed. Again, my mistake. I was in a rush to do this OT. I've been super busy with work (For reference, setting up the MMLC OT took about a week and a half - this I did in less than 24 hours)

Does anyone know if this place is region locked? I have my ps4 and xbox copies down, but I could use a cheap steam key. Thanks in advance

Not region locked no, works worldwide.

Curious.

I love these collections with nice artwork, soundtrack, bestiary, challenges, etc. I wish Konami did the same with Castlevania and SE with Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.

eh...looks like Duo's hand, tbh

Nah the whole structure of the body and headpiece makes it look like a power up from a stone-themed Robot Master.
Now that I think about it, Megaman's form changing ala Kirby when he absorbs a power up would've been an interesting visual design instead of just changing his colors around :p

OK seriously when is this game going up for download on Steam?!?!

Yes but something is amiss. The art is *new*, unlike every other piece in the MM8 museum. It was drawn by Yuji Ishihara (Battle Network,Legends and Star Force). Ishihara did not work on MM8 or any classic series game. What's more, the design has Smash Bros elements (chest, arms, feet). It's almost like someone mistakenly put this in.

IGN - 6.0

IGN put up their review. No negative points regarding performance but a few complaints listed below.

-Only 4 games
-The games are hard and not enough features for modern audiences (although you can save a certain areas throughout the levels)
-Lack of save anywhere feature
-8,9,10 are good but 7 is too slow an clunky and the charge shot takes awhile.

I'm just glad there doesn't seem to be much performance issues that's the main issue as long as it runs good then all is good.

If he's not basing that score on performance, I can't say I agree with it. This is a fine collection for $20, content-wise and I don't think an absence of some modern features should drag down the score to that level.

I want to have the strength to believe.

EDIT: If it isn't new, then I'd wager it's from MM9, with the small modern details added to the armor (sans the brick theme presumably from a weapon selection). If it is new, then I'd say it's a very good compromise between the more detailed Smash rendition and the simplistic original design.

I always wondered whether it was just my imagination if the charge time in MM7 was slower than the other games. The whole feel of the game just never sat right with me.

Soooo, he just doesn't like Mega Man games then?
7/8 are cakewalks 9/10 are a little harder. Did they give souls games low scores for difficulty?

It's definitely a slower game compared to others, honestly it feels that way because it feels so zoomed in but it's up there as one of my favourites. I really wish Rockman and Forte was on there because that has a similar feel movement wise.

I mean I can understand how the lack of extra features can be a negative because their previous collections did have things like this and I can see how some of these games could be difficult to people who have never touched them. I mean as someone who grew up with these games they come pretty natural and the "lack" of features really doesn't matter to me but I can certainly see how new people could get frustrated.I think 6.0 is way too low for those complaints but that's just me. I would say not having Rockman and forte included is the one negative I have about this collection, I really wanted that game in this collection.

Lmao it's Mega Man....it's supposed to be hard. What a lame ass thing to nitpick on a series that is known for it's difficulty.

I think he was getting more at the fact that for new players the difficulty may be off putting and with the lack of save states it may be too difficult for some. There is save states but only in certain areas and it looks to be before boss doors.

Isn't there an easy mode implemented that halves damage?

Are 9 and 10 fucked up in anyway (or PC issues in general)? That is all I really care about.

I don't have time to play a lot right now but I just ran through a level in MM9 (Steam) and it seemed perfectly fine to me and I messed around in one of the stages of 10 and again it ran smoothly and sounded fine.

MM10 has a built in easy mode still but the others don't.
