I hope it does, like 360 did ages ago.
Not automatically. You have to mute the in-game music if you want that. I'll never understand why they undid that from the 360, it was glorious.

It sounds like its a Spotify Connect client. My AV receiver does the same thing. You pick a song or playlist or whatever on your phone and theres a button press for more output options. One of those will be the XBox One

Well since background music was launched long after the release of FH3 it seems like a feature they haven't hooked into.
Do we know of any new releases work with the BG music?
Not showing up in the UK just yet, but if you're an eager beaver, open Edge and search for Spotify for Xbox and find the microsoft store link. That'll hardline you into the Xbox Store location.

It's probably too late now, but it would've been awesome if Forza Horizon 3 updated to add a Spotify radio station. Still going to listen to music on Spotify while playing the game, but the way the game integrates music from radio station into the rest of the game's audio is actually one of the cooler things about it. Maybe there's still a chance it gets added at some point.

I'll admit, up until a few days ago I had hope it would come and be a port of the Android or Win10 version.
This is fine though, I just won't be spending much time actually in the app while it's running, but it's not a big deal or a deal breaker for sure.
