Nope, only vague story improvements and portals were mentioned. Procedural missions, trade/economy improvements, joint exploration, and more would all be new if true.

Yeah, joint exploration sounds like multiplayer but I'll wait until they show it. At the very least, if it's like your own instance where you and some friends are in, that's a step in the right direction, like a LAN game but online.

Especially considering we are just a few hours/days away from the real thing so it doesn't even matter and if anything only tempers with expectations.

I'm kind of worried about the implications of multiplayer and the PC modding community. Especially now that modders will likely have access to all these cool systems to expand even further on everything.

I feel like this is one of those sunken costs things, I'm not even sure i'm using this phrase correctly, but what was the point of patching this game in this fashion at this stage? It's been a year, anyone who was actually interested in this game already got burned and moved on. Everyone else is looking forward to the other games that are out already or coming out soon. I feel like the company managing these resources, or "developers", has wasted them.

I can confirm the meta data is real, came from the No Man's Sky website and verified it myself. Outside of that, people could be making up the additional CSS info.

I got burned and came back after the first big update. I still play it from time to time. Had they not made these updates, then they would have lost my business for good. They are slowly regaining my trust with these updates.

Yep - in the HTML page, they filled out the META Data (used for search engine optimisation). This exposed that content without the page being visible. It's because they're using a Wordpress plugin.

The CSS stuff may not be real.
