Bills can win 5 games on their Oline and Shady alone. That said, the 6 games they will win will give them a good range to trade for whatever QB they want next year. They're thinking a year ahead and can't blame them.

Shady won't have a good year, mark it down. Folks don't realize how important Tyrod is in blocking the 8th man, they're not going to be the same without the run option. Their LT may need foot surgery that will basically keep him out for most of the year, and RT is a complete mess. Watkins was their only consistent deep threat, but he's no longer on the field. It's going to be a slog on offense, they won't hit the deep shots they did in the past, loaded box all game long. McCoy was one of the best backs against a stacked box last season, but that's because the Bills optioned the 8th defender with Tyrod, you had to stay home. I want to see how it plays out, probably the most interesting thing about the team this year.

Are they going to get one to replace Wentz?

Week 5, bills are sitting at 1-4, Jags at 3-2 despite awful play from Bort. Tyrod for a conditional 3rd that jumps to a second if the Jags make the playoffs, 1st if they reach the Super bowl.

Who says no?
The Jags might say no because by the time they have Tyrod fully into the system the season is over. They might be better served by waiting till the offseason and seeing if the Bills pick up his option.

The Eagles are now missing their 2nd and 3rd round pick in next year's draft.

Rowe might get them a 3rd back and depending on where they finish, they might look to trade down in the 1st.

Plus they have (3) fourth round picks so they could use one or two of those to move up.

You can use that sweet 3rd rounder to find an Eric Rowe type cornerback.

LOL traded 2nd round pick and promising young CB to hopefully get a 3rd round pick 2 years later.

I'll take a 3rd for Rowe 3 years after he was drafted. With a coaching change, some players from the old regime don't fit the new scheme. Who would've thought.

Trading away a 2nd-year player who is young, good, and positive character guy to mold into whatever system you wish to run for far lesser return is moronic.

Especially when that position is already a major weakness.

Good?

He was our 5th CB at the time behind Mills and CJ Smith. He was expendable. Whether or not he fit well in with NE does not change the fact that he wasn't in the long term plans of the Eagles.

Why are we still discussing a CB who isn't on the roster? If he stayed here he'd be on the bench for the majority of last season and would've gotten us even less this off-season.

I still remember him from college. I don't get how he fell that hard. His Oline during his last year at UCLA was offensive (he was put on his ass 10 times against Utah, I remember that in particular).

Yeah.. but

This.. lets not toot our own horn about this Lee.

Also remember we did the same thing for Julio Jones and we know how that turned out

The Julio Trade was definitely worse. Fact I was getting at, is we were chastised for not drafting Watkins, not our fault they drafted garbage instead.

Glad the Bills got a decent return. Hope Sammy turns it around for the Rams.

Jags should ask about him.
Exactly who I thought of when the Watkins trade was announced

They could wait for the option as others have said. But they don't want him to get hurt and lose their bargaining power (we can talk about the system change, but the playbook should consist of run Fournette to the ground and then throw a pass to Robinson.) let your defense rest and win the game for you since they have excellent talent on that D.

Gonna be interesting to see Dak without Zeke.

The time off will only help him though. Dallas runs their guys into the ground
Dak will do fine with DMC and Morris. East is gonna be dog fight this season. I'm curious to see wentz this season with a real wr.

Man the Buffalo media is all in on McDermott/Beane combo, amazing to watch. This group hated anything anyone did for as long as I can remember. Now they eat up whatever these two are selling, it's fucking fascinating to watch as an outsider.

No, Pep. Not this year.

Wentz has to own this season.

No excuses should be made for a lack of weapons after they brought in two receivers.
If our run game still sucks then all defenses have to do is focus on him. I think we're fine as long as Jeffrey is healthy, but I'm not sold on that, nor am I sold on Smith yet. I'm just interested to see progression in year 2. How much? Dunno.

Last time a defending rushing champ missed multiple games to start the following season?

1993: DAL went 0-2 with Emmitt Smith, then won SB

Dal vs NE....Super Bowl....

He'll get it down to 2-3 games guaranteed, but yeh Zeke is a dumshit kid and if he did hit her, he should be suspended a full season, but why the fuck does Goodell and the NFL think they know more than the actual police? Weird, and sets a bad precedent.
