I was pretty much expecting the "staples" of the series to be the easiest to use. Still hope there's some high execution requirement or high depth characters there though, hopefully it's Tien and/or Android 18.

So Piccolo is good? Only stat that's weak is speed.

It's probably not gonna happen until he gets his new Super transformation.
He'll start off as Ultimate Gohan and transform mid-match like Frieza.

There cant be a 3 vs. 3 Dragon Ball fighting game without the Trio De Dangers!
I like characters who exist.
I mean, Broly's a regular in most of the fighting games, & Episode 100 of Super confirmed he's 100% non-canon, so at least the Trio can say they've ever existed...
I like too many of the new characters from this arc; they need to revive everyone at the end of it, & they all need to be regulars in the games. Kakunsa didn't get enough time to shine, Caulifla & Cabba are setting up to be good understudies to Goku & Vegeta (Respectively), & I haven't seen today's episode but Jiren's done nothing but basic arm movements & insult Goku, & I already want more of the guy. That's to say nothing about Kale, or them finally selling me on Bottamo.
Yeah they'll be in "Dragon Ball FighterZ 3: GoD Edition" as preorder bonuses.

24? That's impressive for a first-run ASW fighter. Hopefully that amount will be true, because I think it's a solid number for a 3vs3 fighter.

1. 24 characters huh... True, about where I expected.
2. I like One Piece and its characters. I don't like the majority of the characters introduced in this arc, and even if I did, outside of U6, none of them are remotely interesting or intriguing enough to the point where I would want to waste future arcs exploring each of the characters and their respective universes. Not that I wouldn't mind them exploring at least one universe, but all of them? Uhh... no thanks lol

Where are you getting that number? It could just as easily be 16 based on the layout at the bottom.
16 is what GG Xrd started with, and that was a single fighter pure Arc project. 24 actually seems believable now.
...again, based on what? 24 would be nice but I see absolutely no hard indication either way.

And at least one more Gohan.
Trunks is called "Trunks".
Goku is called "Goku SS" and Vegeta "Vegeta SS".
Gohan is called "Gohan Y" (aka Gohan young, to differentiate him from the older Gohan).
And probably another Majin Buu. (fat buu is called majinBoo-z)

Sure, but that whole period of exploration and creativity is going to take a major hit in it's first year or so and that really sucks.
The one assist thing doesn't help either thinking on it.
So SSB Goku/Vegeta and maybe Kid Goku, Ultimate Gohan and Kid Buu.
I meant one of each. Kid Goku seems unlikely.
Another Goku or Vegeta is so boring. Gohan and Buu I can understand as there very different characters.

I personally hope all the alternate Goku, alternate Trunks, alternate Gohan crap is left to the end of the DLC cycle.

See them as "Evil Ryu" kind of stuff I guess.
I just hope they're EX versions and not literally new characters. Otherwise that's a rather bad sign for updates to characters like Trunks and 17.
But they might update the interface etc... whenever/if they add more Super versions.

Yeah and looking at how they're embracing Super, Beerus should be in as well.
I see Beerus as the final boss too. Either him or Golden Freeza. Maybe Beerus will be a secret boss that you have to beat in order to unlock, who knows.
