^Today of all days especially was a good day to do it. Got Nazis marching through an American city and one of them running a Dodge Challenger into a group of people. Good timing indeed.

Lol marshawn clowning on del Rio

Del Rio: hey fella what was all that malarkey about not standing during national anthem!

Marshawn: idk

Del Rio: yeah well I strongly advise... I strongly feel... An affinity for it!

Marshawn: idk I've been doing it like 11 years or something

Del Rio: but the NFL only started doing the national anthem with the players on the field 8 years ago! So how could you do it for 11...

Marshawn: 11 years

Del Rio: well you are our starting rb so I respect you as a man.

I didn't see it, but apparently Marshawn Lynch sat during the anthem for tonight's game.

More players need to do this. Especially after what happened this weekend, who is in office, and how these groups feel empowered.

Kap can't get a job while protesting these scumbags. I can't even begin to understand.

Good?

He was our 5th CB at the time behind Mills and CJ Smith. He was expendable. Whether or not he fit well in with NE does not change the fact that he wasn't in the long term plans of the Eagles.

Why are we still discussing a CB who isn't on the roster? If he stayed here he'd be on the bench for the majority of last season and would've gotten us even less this off-season.

Because it's a great example of how awful the decision making has been.

CJ Smith is not better than anyone. Schwartz talked Howie into bringing his Buffalo guys but Ron Brooks and McKelvin were either awful or as usual hurt.

He wouldn't have been on the bench cause he is a starting CB in this league and if they still kept him on the bench it would be only out of spite.

Man the Buffalo media is all in on McDermott/Beane combo, amazing to watch. This group hated anything anyone did for as long as I can remember. Now they eat up whatever these two are selling, it's fucking fascinating to watch as an outsider.

The Pep syndrome.

He works in New England. Why is it such a hard concept for people to grasp?

He wasn't the type of CB Schwartz wanted and wouldn't have had pt here. It's the same reason we got Darby. He doesn't fit well in Buffalo and the eagles think he'd be better here. It's not one size fits all.

Pederson and SchwartZ don't care what round Chip Kelly drafted his players.

Calvin Johnson could easily secure free agency, if he wants to

All he has to do is show up.

Specifically, he simply has to notify the Commissioner that Johnson will be ending his retirement and reporting to the Lions. At that moment, his $16 million salary from 2016 would immediately hit the books — along with a $16 million cap number. And with the Lions, according to the NFLPA, currently having less than $8 million in cap space, they would have to move quickly to avoid being out of compliance.

The quickest, easiest move would be to release Johnson, which would make him a free agent immediately.

Another way to handle the issue would entail teams interested in Johnson reaching out to negotiate a face-saving trade for the Lions, which would allow them to get a little something in exchange for letting Johnson go. However, Johnson’s cap number gives him the upper hand.

Man he could really fuck the Lions and become an URFA immediately

He has stated multiple times this off season he is staying retired. I just found Florios hypothetical interesting

The Lions could trade him for anything to recoup some of the loss but that cap hit.....not many teams that are good have that kind of space available.

Dougie and Schwartz might not care but Howie definitely does and he is the one making these terrible moves. The eagles haven't won a playoff game since Howie joined the front office. That is not a coincidence.

List off to me the terrible moves he's made. The team has improved under him once Chip was fired.
