Can't wait; double dipped for the Switch version and will probably do so again with the sequel. Fate/Extra is the best Fate continuity.

It's not really 'dating' as much as it's pre-established romance from Fate/Extra, but yes, you can - though as has been said, there's barely, if any, difference in what the characters say to a male avatar vs a female.
The female avatar still gets called husband by Tamamo, for example - though IIRC that's explained in Extra as just a foible of Tamamo always seeing herself as 'the wife'.
Also, glad I popped in, didn't know there was going to be a sequel.
Though I'm curious on how they plan on modifying Extella's storyline - if it's going to be similar to what they did for CCC, or an actual sequel.
Either way, I kinda hope they drop Vita in order to bump up the production values and some other less-than-stellar elements of the musou action (though they probably won't

Thanks, ive bee really considering buying the game but it was a wait and see but review scores on the page back seems to make it better than what i thought, so I might jump in now.

So i just downloaded the game and decided to play in handheld mode, and boy does it run smoothly despite a billion things on screen and looks alot better than I thought it would, I kinda want to look at the vita version to see how it handled itself with this game.

Obviously not even half as many enemies but I'm surprised just how kinetic and fast paced it is on the vita
This is my feeling as well. Also I hope that Nero actually gets laid in this next one, because I felt like she got the shaft (or didn't) in this one.
For some reason, I loved this game. I must have put in 50 hours or more into it and still play it to unlock all of the costumes. My favorite characters were Artoria and Nameless. Both of them kicked so much ass in this game. Next would be Nero, but she's the default, so I felt like she was naturally going to be fun to play. I just hope they don't spend so much time fawning over the main character or it would be awesome if Shirou makes an appearance this time as I liked him as a main character than the guy in Extra (been reading the manga recently, too).
I started playing Fate/Grand Order and re-watched Fate/Stay Night as well.
Look forward to the anime next year. Let's hope this next game gets a NS version as well!!

I remember being surprised to see it was still in the best sellers on the eshop last week( it dropped off now tho) so its possible marvelous are satisfied with the sales.
Same here. I hope it did well enough to get a NS version. I totally enjoyed it and it gets me hyped for the upcoming Nights of Azure 2.

First off, the title of the game is Fate/Extella Link. The "super fast action has been powered up." The costumes for the masters have been redesigned apparently. All 16 characters from Extella return.

I wasn't massively enthusiastic about this game but it's Fate/ so news of a sequel is still exciting. I bet a Switch version is almost a guaranteed lock at this point.

The graphics are supposed to be better which is good since the Servants looked not so good in Extella, also really loving the new Master clothes. I hope for two things:
1. That the story mode makes you use other servants. Maybe I didn't understand something well but in Extella I only had one character that you could change to but couldn't change it to another one (For example it was always Nero->Archer).
2. Please give me a good Assassin and Berserker!
I really have to return to Extella to play the side stories, after beating the main game I got burned out and stopped playing.

Well those screens clearly are from the ps4 version so I don't know if the Switch one will look better than Extella

PS4/NSW seems to be highly likely. No vita version to drag it down.
I would be very surprised if it doesn't get localized. They localized Extella after all and ported it to damn near everything that's current, and Aniplex's efforts with Fate/Grand Order are all about making the franchise more well known over here, so I think they'd bring it over for that reason too.
And easy cross promotion too.
