Ordered it 4 minutes after it was posted here and I just received my confirmation email that my order is being processed, delivery for 10/9!

Edit. Just got my email to confirm order from Walmart. Check your email guys.

What if WM does a mass cancellation again? That would be a huge shit show and I think they would have to rectify it unlike last time calling it a mistake.

I got this as well. Last month when preorders went live with Walmart, I assumed it was an issue Walmart had with my credit card (didn't matter anyway since everyone eventually got cancelled), but this time I used paypal and had the same exact problem. I was able to try 3 times to get an order to work before the page went dead and immediately got 2 confirmations and 2 cancellations. 3rd attempt was in limbo until just now when I finally got a confirmation email followed by a cancellation one. Pending charges now have all disappeared from my paypal account. There's nothing wrong with my paypal information and there wasn't anything wrong with my credit card details last month. This was only going to be a backup preorder in case my other one falls through, so I'm not really upset about it. I guess I just won't bother with walmart.com again.

Interesting that you guys are just now getting your confirmation emails..I got mine literally seconds after I ordered.

Walmart is absurdly finicky in my experience, lol. This time I used my everyday debit card and my main address and everything worked fine. But during the early days of the amiibo wars I had many an order suddenly cancelled because the address I used contained a secondary line (i.e., "Fourth floor", "Apt 7B", etc.), and they couldn't verify it in their system or something. At least, I think that's what happened, since they never even gave me any specific details.

Still no email but it's in my order history and the charge is there. I'm pretty sure their website runs on a 486DX server so it'll just take a while for them to process all those orders
