After 400 hours of attempts, streamer finally uploads his Mario Maker level.

Is this the same guy waypoint did that feature about a few months ago?

Edit: not quite. But still super impressive. I can't imagine spending several hundred hours on one level.

Well done for him on memorising all that and completing it, but that's not a well designed level. It relies far too much on knowing what's ahead before you encounter it.

That was awesome.

Since I don't know, can you not upload a level unless you beat it or something I'm guessing? Can't wait to see other people have a go at it.

Lmao, the ending is great.

We need Mario Maker on the Switch. With highlight weekly level designs, top 100 popular levels, etc. I don't know if those options are available on the Wii U.

Yeah, that's the point. Kaizo Mario stages are about rote memorization, building muscle-memory, and near-perfect execution -- it's a brand of levels that aren't for everybody. Of course nobody is going to clear it on their initial encounter. There are a billion other levels where that's the design philosophy.

At any rate, that's awesome that he finally did it. I can't imagine the relief.

Terrible level but got to give him credit for his skills and dedication to finish it. Insane what he had to do.

Holy shit, props! Haven't followed this level recently but a while back I was checking the periodic videos updated with his progress and it was pretty amazing seeing how every video he got a little farther, and always disheartening when it was apparently super close, but no cigar. Seriously insane dedication.

Yeah, the video is insane. I'd love to be able to do half of the stuff present here, and I like to consider myself decently-skilled at Mario.

I'm not too familiar with the Mario Maker scene, so maybe it's standard practice, but using the Fire Flowers as deadly obstacles is genius.
I've seen a fair bit before, but NEVER to this extent. At 1:45 - Activating a block with a flying fire flower, then twirling it right to throw it in the noteblock and activate a vine, and still avoid it on the way down? Downright madness, haha.

That might be one of the craziest videogame-related things I've ever seen. There is just an unbelievable amount of bullshit crammed into that level, congratulations to the creator for finally conquering it.

He did half the fucking level without even actually focusing and just casually talking to the chat.

The fuck.
