Inti Creates reveals Dragon Marked for Death for Switch

Inti has created two of my favorite Switch games. So I am in.

I plan ln getting the gunvolt double pack too since I never played them on 3ds. This is turning out pretty good for them and I can't be happier. Good dev team.

Why the low-res look? Did they really draw the assets only in lowres because it started as a 3DS game? Or is it a stylistic choice?

Anyway, this retro style will probably repell a good chunk of potential players.

I love Toru Nakayama's art so damn much, nice to see him working with Inti again.
I just wish he would have worked with them on more Mega Man games, the zero series had my favorite art style.

The character looks a little stiff in that gameplay footage but day one nonetheless. Inti Creates never disappoints.

They were imitating his style for a bit so I suppose they shared a similar opinion. (Zero 4 and ZX)

This is the heavy/strong character, so that could explain the stiff look. I would imagine the other character move more fluid.

Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
Looks so good holy shit (feel free to make a thread for new trailer):

This has been on my shortlist of Day 1's since e3. Couldn't be happier about the delay.

December was crowded enough after the Monster Boy delay, Battle Princess Madelyn dated (and delayed), and that 800-pound gorilla with a tie on - somehow I have an indie 2D backlog. Take your time!

I gave the demo a go at TGS earlier this year . I liked it enough to pre-order it, but it didn't feel quite complete at that point (gameplay for the witch felt like it needed MAJOR rebalancing and maybe messing with the commands, shinobi's animations looked incomplete) yet when I asked they said it was about done. Hopefully those will have been improved in the final product.

Um, can you guys go buy this game so I have some people to play with online? Holy shit, this game is really good.

I'm past level 2 so far, which is not far at all. I got the Fighter's pack with the DPS character, and the Tank. Tried them both out, and they're both surprisingly deep. I honestly hated the Tank at first because I couldn't even figure out how to play him effectively. But after I put in more time, he's by far my favorite of the two, and they're both great so far.

The game is CLEARLY built around multiplayer. The first boss is designed really well in that the tank has a few moments where he's clearly supposed to be blocking blasts for a party.

So far the online matchmaking is rough. Haven't found anyone yet.

I was surprised in that I kind of like the story so far a lot. It's simple but satisfying.

Reviews have looked ok/poor. I'll need to be convinced to look more at this.

Alright, I'm finding some parties now. For anyone interested in knowing since it's not explained well at all, this is almost like FFXI looking for a party stuff.

You create your quest, it loads and sits you on the screen with just you and 3 blank slots. It's like old Monster Hunter. There you have to wait for people to join. It doesn't mean it failed. And you can chat and change gear, then you all depart.
