Wow, very excited for this. I was waiting until I got more powerful hardware to run this so by the time this releases I should be ready.
I understand this version will be Play Anywhere as well?

I was hoping this would be the announcement of PCVR support... maybe closer to launch or soon after... so in the end this is just the deluxe edition on PC right? (just all the DLC will be out at this point)

Sounds great. I stopped playing the game shortly after it came out tho.
Will there be anything added to the main game when this and the DLC are launching? Improvements or tweaks?

Does the game still have the "Not a Hero will release in Spring 2017" ad? Well atleast it is coming this year.

This Is getting pretty out of hand now. I mean, after buying games on launch and then getting butt fucked by GOTY editions a year later during PS3/360 Gen, we moved to a new point where we had the definitive editions which was the same game with updated graphics and all(or most of the content). Now we're at a point where companies aren't even waiting at least 8 months and re-releasing it. Like WTF!?
Wait for super turbo gold/komplete/definitive/GOTY edition of this?

I will never understand this dislike towards complete/goty editions. These are nothing more than glorified pricedrops and it adds a new SKU for retail. If this is getting buttfucked then so is when the base game gets heavily discounted after 6 months.

Right? You could even say something around three months of a price drop equals the consumer getting screwed by that logic (since most games drop fast anyway)

Only interested in the Zoe and Chris DLC. The "funhouse" style dlc before hand never seemed to be worth any money compared to how the actual game is.

I've got to say, I've spent hours with the RE7 DLC and look forward to several hours more with Not A Hero and End Of Zoe. I was able to pick up a new copy of the game for $30 in March, so I went ahead and sprung for the Season Pass since I figured I was getting the main game plus all DLC for the price of just the main game. Nightmare/Night Terror, Ethan Must Die, 21, and Jack's 55th Birthday I put many hours into, I honestly had a great deal of fun with them. Bedroom and Daughters were also quite enjoyable--just not a lot of replay value since they're puzzle oriented so once you solve them that's kinda it. I wonder if there will be any other minigames thrown into the Zoe DLC to boost it's value.

I've seen the Season Pass go on sale for $23 once--it's not at all unfeasible it will go on sale again between now and December 12th. And with Black Friday coming up before the Gold Edition releases, there is a good chance you can buy the game and the Season Pass for less money than the Gold Edition will cost, and get the same content.

Unless Not A Hero and End Of Zoe are turkeys, I feel I'll have absolutely gotten my money's worth on this DLC set--not something that can be said for a lot of games with Season Passes.

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
I hope Not a Hero actually has some meat to it. I'll be bummed if it's just 30 minutes or something.

Also I'll consider getting End of Zoe if it's significant enough. The rest of the DLC content seems like it was pretty forgettable filler.

You'll prefer it if Capcom lock significant plot points behind DLC?

Yeah, this.

It seems to me that the base game /should have been released/ once Not a Hero was done, given it's supposedly its real ending, and being action oriented it would have pleased action RE fans right out of the gate.

I think the fact that its release will coincide with Zoe's end is a consequence of its delay.

I agree. This retail version of the game will be near complete with almost all DLC and patches on the disc (Please don't fuck me over more Capcom).

Why wouldn't we be happy?

Hmm, after Not A Hero's delay I uninstalled the game to make room on my HDD & moved on. Guess I'll wait for GAF's consensus first; if it's anywhere near as glowing as it was for the base game, I'll go ahead and reinstall.

stoked to play it. I guess ill pick up the DLC. Anybody heard anything about how long the Not a Hero DLC is? are we thinking Minerva's Den sized? Also the game is super slick looking. So crisp and photographic.

Did no one post the Gold Edition price?

I found it on the RE7 website in-case no one knows yet!

Haman Discharged... she smells nice
Shit, that stuff from the website is getting me super hyped about these two final pieces of DLC. Can't wait to punch some Molded, and run around as Zoe again.

Yeah, I loved RE7, and have the Season Pass, so I'm super excited for this content. Both pieces sound good, seems like Not a Hero might be a bit more action-focused, whereas I would guess that End of Zoe would play a bit more like the base RE7.

I still haven't played any of the Banned Footage DLC, I should really strap on the headset again and get back to it.

It's a great price but I'm waiting for it to be cheaper since it lacks Not a Hero.

Not sure if serious... If you are, "Not a Hero" is free for all versions of the game, including the base version. It's Free DLC, not tied to the Season Pass or anything.

It's strange that they don't list it on the "Gold Edition" contents, but it's definitely included.

Everything points to it not being included on the disc so yeah I'm serious.

I do have vanilla 7 and the season pass so I can wait for Gold to be very cheap.

It will be free, whether it's on the disc or you have to download it.

It's free for everyone, even people with just the vanilla and no season pass.

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
Seems like the dlc is confirmed to be about capturing Lucas. And will provide some much needed catharsis after all the scares of the main game. Nice.

God the DLC sounds like everything I wanted RE7 to be

"You'll be Out-numbered but not Out-gunned"

"Don't be shy about getting your hands dirty'
