I'm putting together a Halloween horror watchlist for my company's anime night, but so much of horror anime is shit or a little too extreme to show in that kind of setting. So I'd appreciate any recommendations on what you think the best horror anime are, especially for people who might not be as familiar with anime.

Yamishibai and the first season of Kagewani are nice little bite-sized horror stories at about 5 minutes a pop. If your group doesn't mind the time investment and attention required then Mononoke is a suitably moody and engrossing watch.

Maturity, bitches.
You would if you watched Kemono Friends and if watching Kill Me Baby is what it takes to get you to watch it then I'll do what I have to do.

lol I was one of the first to watch it. Long before the memes and popularity.

Didn't realise this whole time you thought I hadn't watched Kemono Friends.

EDIT: P.S. You should still watch Kill Me Baby

Not available in my Netflix region so I dunno if this is still up for US: https://www.netflix.com/title/70264805

Otherwise there's always: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AT7SNPM/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Perfect Blue?

Select episodes of Paranoia Agent would also be a great pick.

Miki and Yayoi will always be tops for me but I have much respect for many of the other girls as well like Anzu, Uzuki, Miku and Fumika.

Except Haruka. Never Haruka.

if I recall right the ovas don't matter. but I am not 100% sure about that.

to be fair the third season is going to suck hard (well depending on episode count as if it gets a 50 or so episode order the second half won't be that bad) so it's not a big deal if you want to pretend the series ends after season 2 anyways lol.
Well, I was mostly just asking in general although that will be a shame if the next season of FW isn't the good. I know that One Punch Man has some OVA episodes I haven't seen as well and they're not on Hulu. How are they handled these days? Do the US companies ever do anything with them?

Sometimes they do stuff and sometimes they don't. It depends :p

The One punch man episodes are on the discs released by viz.

I think its a case by case thing, some ova episodes of some series are streaming.

I dont know if the Food Wars ovas are on sentais Hi Dive service, and discs for their recently release set.

surprised he didn't watch it in the first place

At this ladies and gentlemen, is why you read the rest of the thread before posting.

More surprising is Narag presents himself as a monocle and yet still hasn't seen Kill Me Baby. Tsk tsk.

Re:Creators - 21

Some feels during the 2nd half of the episode, does anyone else think:

Since Altair can create infinite worlds and basically has the power to do whatever do you think she'll just revive everyone who died fighting? Queue happy ending?

I'm loyal to my picked best girl choices. Unlike some other people here.

.....who the hell is Kasse lol.^_^

The only true answer for CG is Kanade for me.^_^

The bewitching charmer.^_^

Haruka is easily the worst waifu after all.^_^ The same level as Ganbarimasu.^^ Hell, in CG most top quality waifu is Cool alignment lol.^_^

Well you couldn't even remember how to spell Kaede's name so your memory isn't exactly a good measurement for anything.

While i approved for the burn lol, i have hard time seeing people with Haruka trash avatar lol.^_^
