Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

I love how clear cut milestones are for progression. Clear measurable goals with a weekly reset?

Man, I can't wait to do the raid but I'm really bummed out about my friends' perspectives now. Back in D1 days, we all tackled the vault of glass together blindly and it was a hell of an experience figuring everything out with friends. Now with D2 they all just want to look up guides and mindlessly follow them to the finish for the loot. I was really looking forward to a blind run again but I guess not...

What do you all prefer? Looking up guides and getting the gear as quickly as possible? Or going in blind and figuring/ discovering things out as you go?

as a Warlock main this time around, I'm ashamed to call Ikora my Vanguard mentor.

She laments how useless she's been
She's afraid to die
She is quick to stop Hawthorne from joining the fight just because she's not a Guardian
She has otherwise always seemed incredibly self assured to the point of being arrogant, and now when the chips are down, her true colors clearly show

It is known. Warlocks are cowards.

As a Warlock, I wish Cayde was my mentor

I wish they would add a "N" for north on the radar when in one of the open zone. I keep opening the map to check which direction I'm pointing.

On 3rd encounter of the raid, looking for someone to take our sixths since they have to leave. Any takers?

To be clear
we've beaten the dog garden and are now on the gauntlet.

Message me on psn (psn:pantsmith) if interested.

I suppose there's no win-win situation for exotic drops, but place me in the camp that wishes they would tweak it just a bit so that they'd drop less often. Other than that, I'm having a blast with this game.

NO

I am a hardcore Destiny player, but Destiny 2 is very rewarding and satisfying to play. It should be life compatible and most people will only get a couple exotics at most. I'm still trying to get some guns.

Great, more white supremist armor.

How is that white supremacist?

I see what looks like one forward and one backward K.

That only makes two Ks even if you flip the one forward. Am I missing a symbol here or just ignorant of some obscure reference?

I would hate for someone to think me a nazi just because I responded "kk" in text chat in answer to a "let's do this next" statement.

Edit: Nevermind. I never heard of the "kek" reference before. I get it now. I mean I dont get it, but I get it.

There was a thread on this:

Huh, just tried doing the weekly strike thing, new to MMOs. Got in a party that ran at full speed past me, trapping me in some area stuck behind a force field I couldn't get past on my own.

Fun times.

join destiny gaf discord, ask for people to take you through it. Or keep up! Can't always expect strangers to help you. Sucks for the bug though if you really were stuck.

Join a GAF clan and party with clanmates and/or friends.

(Ending)
I never really noticed while at the old Tower, but this new Tower really makes me realize how fucking big the Last City is. Like, there are skyscrapers all over it. Were there any grimoire cards about city life? Is it just like, normal society down there while the guardians are fighting across space all the time?

Depends on when and the time I'm working with. I've done every Raid blind or through sheperds, but if for some reason I'm jumping in a couple of weeks to a month later, I'll look into a guide before in order to keep up with the fireteam.

Edit: Only managed to get to 257 tonight, so I'll probably hold off on the Raid until the weekend. Sorry to those who were messaging/inviting me.
