Can we finally agree that Nintendo is Doomed?

I just hope Nintendo fans get out there and support these games (provided they are good ports)

It would send a damn strong message to Western 3rd parties if Skyrim, DOOM, and Wolfenstein sell well

I'm almost certainly going to grab DOOM. I'm unsure about Wolfenstein though, its not the type of shooter I normally enjoy playing on a controller

I will certainly buy DOOM no matter the framerate. Everything I've heard about the game makes it seem like fun!

Disney Capcom, Crash and Megaman and Marvel not coming to the Switch.

LA Noir, Skyrim, Doom and Wolfenstein coming to the Switch.

What kind of timeline is this??

Wolfenstein definitely has my attention but this is a game I need to see running gameplay on the Switch before I can get excited.

I want to know how labour intensive a switch port or down port is ?

If it is fairly quick to do. That is massive I could see a lot of PC porta appearing on the system

Shit imagine a system with Nintendo first party.
Indie games
PC ports and some third party games thrown in

Add to that VC and some no doubt remasters of old games and wow the switch is really looking good

Shame the wii-u never had this.
Imagine what if?

It's nuts when you put it that way.

I feel like Crash may come eventually. His Skylander works with the Switch version of Imaginators so anythings possible.

PS4 and Xbone are basically PCs too and they dont get anymore "pc ports" than consoles before them did.

Other AAA games from other publishers have no excuse not being on the Switch anymore. Especially when we got Doom and Wolfen-fucking-stein on the Switch. And espeically if these sell well. I have no reason to believe they won't.

No need for me to replay the single player, but I'm still playing the Doom multiplayer a few days a week a year and a half later, so I will definitely get this instead of Splatoon 2.

I'm going to buy everything Bethesda brings to the Switch.

Amen.

Normally I'd play these kind of games on PC, but portability of the Switch is so inviting...

And on PC I tend to play the same games anyway, mainly MMOs etc. so maybe I actually would play these on Switch...

I am really excited and those downplaying Switch library can go pluck their pubic hairs one at a time!

I am glad to see that Hines (?) wasn't lying when he said that he's impressed with Switch.

Who knew some of the best 3rd party support for the Switch would be coming from Bethesda of all companies.

What a time to be alive.

I was blown away by this bit in the direct, at this point I was sure the the first FPS announced for Switch would be an unknown half assed effort not something like Doom/Wolfstein 2, hope they can manage decent ports.

When I next travel back to last year, I'm going to tell people that the Nintendo NX is going to get better year 1 support from Bethesda then Capcom. And I am going to make so much money when they bet against me.

Been interested in DOOM for awhile, but never got the chance to grab it. This should be a good opportunity.

Its pretty crazy to think the full version of a new current gen game like Wolfenstien 2 is going to be available in handheld form. I dont really play Switch in handheld mode, but I kinda want try a bit with this just for the novelty.

DOOM was my GOTY 2016. The single player game is really something else. The Metroid Prime influence in the game is going to please many fans that haven't gotten a chance to play it yet on the other platforms.

Is it just me, or are the details more well definited in the Switch version? Yeah, textures are lower quality, but the PS4 one looks more washed out? Same with the XBO shot. Look at the left side of the armor's chest area. There's just better contrast in the Switch screenshot.
