Won 2 games tonight and a few in the top 5.
Some guy made a perfect shot with the grenade launcher and smoked me out of my fortress. And yeah, the new scoped AR is fucking op. Love this game!

Yeah the weapons that aren't blues and up aren't very reliable at all. Sometimes its a instakill and sometimes it tickles them.
I had a guy that I put almost an entire clip in earlier, he had armor, but he was stationary and I unloaded my legendary rifle into him.
At full health I died in like 3 shots. I got at least 7-8 into him.
So many people jumping out of the bus as soon as they can and diving down. Must be carnage at the section under the bus.

Just a small correction at least on console you don't have to hold down the fire button. Just hit it once and you'll continue the bandage.

Perfect.
I played Squads for the first time earlier. Landed in a house with another squad which had no weapons in it at all. What ensued was 6-8 players swinging pick axes at each other like mad men. My friend and I managed to escape the chaos but it was so funny running around frantically trying to find a weapon of any sort.

After giving it another chance i can kinda see the appeal. For being in such an early state the game is rather solid and the build mechanic is interesting but i just dont find the gunplay satisfying at all.
I like the concept so i hope some other developer comes out with a solid addition to the genre in the near future(on PS4).
Could see it being a great fit for Last of Us 2 for example but we'll see.

I am happy they got squads out by why on earth no simple chat box for when you play with randoms? That just seems stupid as hell to me.

Just had a couple of goes but damn, yeh, going to be playing a lot more of this I think. Just dove right in and got #76 after having landed right by someone else who beat me into the house. Then girlfriend had a go and got to #15 by not picking up a single weapon and hiding (she's not too hot on TPP games). Had a last go and got to #14, killed two people along the way and got familiar with the controls.
Things could be tighter but there's a damn good base here that's already fun, and the devs seem communicative and responsive about future plans.
Yeh, going to have a couple more before hitting the hay. This and Destiny? Oh dear.

Just won another round, the bushes lowkey hide your entire character model. Super useful for when the circle is getting hella small and the enemy gets impatient.

Not yet but almost certainly coming since they're planning a cosmetics based business model.
Not that i can see. It defaulted me a female character and i can't change it unless you have to do it in PvE or something.

I didn't knew what to do when you hold circle in the building menu with this strange blue wall and he told me you can build spiral staircases, walls with Windows, walls with doors and many more with that.
I was like:
Also, idk if it's a bug or intended but in team mode the ranking didn't count as a team, we were second place and it showed me second, and the other 2 team members third and fourth place. Huh?

Yeah building patterns might be overwhelming for newcomers.

Yeah, "save the world" mode has a building a radar tower mission where it can really teach you about building various shapes and sizes since there is no way you can build the whole thing without some knowledge and know how. Perhaps pvp mode needs their own spin aside from learning it yourself or from others.

Yeah you can modify most of the building elements, both the shape of the structure and the materials to use. Metal walls offer more protection but take longer to build. You can make traps too.

The main tricky part to learn with building is staircases. You have to click the starting point and drag to create the stair shape. There is also a small wedge between the 4 main blocks and you click one and drag to the opposite side to make the default shape.

I am loving this game. Been playing non stop for the last 4 hours now. On PS4. No queues, no slowdown, just overall excellent performance and gameplay is butter smooth.
My only complaint is that I would have liked the weapon selection to be on the d-pad instead of triangle.

Loot management seems kinda ass.
When I kill someone and there's a ton of shit dropped I can't quickly see what I need or I end up picking up a gun that swaps something out instead of ammo.
Is there a button to showcase area loot where you can drag and drop like PUBG that I'm just missing?

I play random squads in PUBG and I have only had one intentional teamkill. The way this game is being played vs. PUBG is odd.

Yeah, that is my main gripe.
Sorting through a ton of garbage.
Let me auto pickup ammo first of all. I always want ammo.

Bluehole when they see the success of Fortnite BR on consoles and they realize they cant release PUBG on PS4 until later next year:
Probably one of those exclusivity deals the dev winds up regretting. PS4 players aren't going to just wait around.

Finally got into a game. This is really fun and the artstyle looks gorgeous. It looks charming compared to the cheap and sterile look of PUBG. I was able to finish at #10 on 2/3 matches, so that's a decent start. My only complain is that it runs at an unlocked framerate on Pro. Lock that shit to 30, Epic.

That would be cool.
But honestly, with 5 slots, I would NEVER take them.
I never take grenades even. Smoke even less so.
I wish that you could put all ammo from similar guns into one gun.
