Is this 60FPS like Ys VIII and Tokyo Xanadu eX+? I know those were Vita ports and this isn't, but the higher framerate would still be nice.

Looks like 60 FPS. Streaming it in 1080p60 is pretty good, too.

On another note, the whole spiel about seeing all the bonding events in one run may not be true? Already encountered a situation where spending my two bonding points doesn't let me see the remaining ones. Not sure what I'm missing here.

On another note, for the people who played Zero/Ao,
Jingo's back! And all grown up, too!

4k 60fps on pro would be impressive

Game's OST is disgustingly good

Falcom was clearly holding out on us, since the promotional stuff was good, but not this good

I was surprised to hear
an instrumental version of the opening as a battle theme, as well as another song that includes the Enforcers' leitmotif
in the opening sequence.

My Kiseki-BOX with acrylic Tita stand already departed Tokyo, so hopefully I'll have it by Friday at the earliest!
Iirc you can always see every event now, just only get link points with those who you use your bonding points on. My copy is going be here by the end of the week so I guess I'll know soon for sure, but you should try that.

I just went back to an old save and double checked, you cannot see any of the missed events once you've spent your bonding points. It seems to function the exact same way it did in CS1/CS2.

Yeah, I'm never gonna get tired of this battle theme. It far surpasses Heated Mind and Glint of Cold Steel.

The Crossbell theme is mad good. The investigation themes are my real jam though, christ

Played until the tutorial boss. I am still adapting at the new menus, but the game looks very good.

I am damn happy seeing some familiar faces from Liberl and Crossbell and I want more dammit.

I can't believe we got a mainline Kiseki game with passable dungeon design (that isn't 3rd ofc)

Pinch me, I must be dreaming

Nice to see bonding events involve other people. This is just the first evening set, though. Also, so much for the voice acting. It's barely there!

Maybe I'll need to see actual screens and not just the map, but we already had a Geofront dungeon in CS II's Divertissment and this doesn't look like a substantially more interesting layout. Duct crawling's also Falcom's polite way to pad out dungeons whenever possible. Link to footage?

Ehhhhh too lazy

It's pretty much in-line with the Geofront dungeon, and that was miles ahead of what was present in the previous games / CS2.

I just got to the first free day because all the talking to NPCs, gonna eat up a lot of stream time, lol.

They're already putting some effort to make the NPCs stand out in this which is really cool. I noticed quite a few of them have things in their rooms that reflect their personality and interests. Seeing Fredy's desk with the garlic, peppers, and dried fish hanging from his wall was pretty funny after his conversation with Rean about finding ingredients and eating bugs.

Don't mind me...I'm just gonna peep in from time to time and spoil myself 'cause I love the Cold Steel series too much to wait on the localization. I'm glad things sound like they've been much improved over the PS3 games.

I didn't actually say what the spoiler was I just spoiler tagged it because I said when something big happens. Also I'm still losing it over it and the stream it happened on is over for the night but now I'm wide awake and can't go to sleep :(

Oh no, i'm not chastising you. The scene in question straight up left me speechless.

Man I just started this today and I feel like I forgot some stuff from Sen II :\

I'll tag in spoilers just in case (CS II and first chapter CS III)

Is crossbell part of Erebonia now ? Last thing I remember is lloyd facing Rean scene. I assume so because of Randy and Yuna being at the academy

Edit : better yet anyone has a link to the Falcom event timeline ?

Something about the music feels off. Maybe the mix? It sounds very "flat" (maybe there's a better word to use here).

Is this stupid bullshit speechless or crazy things happening speechless?

Yes that happens at the end of CS2, the part where Lloyd is facing Rean is after the takeover happens.

Crazy things happening speechless. If you'd like to know exactly feel free to PM me, I don't want to post such a huge spoiler so soon after the games been released.

I have no intention of spoiling myself or rushing through the game. But it sounds exciting. Can't wait to get to it.

I guess it's not too big of a spoiler but i accidentally read a name upon quoting you. : (

That wasn't a spoiler for CS3, it was from CS2 I was clarifying what another post was asking. The big spoiler is just that, big.

This thread is breaking my heart because I don't speak Japanese. I have a Japanese textbook and app I picked up to start awhile ago, but I'm still basic as hell... Fuck me man, I want this so bad. Argh.

Guys and girls please........

If you think something may even be an inkling of spoilers (character names, places, battles, weapons, etc), just be safe and put spoiler tags.

Now, that out of the way I may very well bite the bullet and import this. I cannot wait until June or later of 2019 to get this game because of Falcom's silly localization policy for the West. This game looks amazing.

adamsapple

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Anyone with access to the game, can you please list down the available difficulties in the game and what descriptions are next to them ?

I'd really appreciate that please.

I WANT OFF KONDO'S WILD RIDE, THIS INSTANCE

Yeah so CS3's lategame is uhhhh... a thing. And I mean that in the best way possible.

Reading the spoilers without finding a stream to watch what the hell is happening is so damn weird. Certainly a lot more twists then I was expecting.

*nervous laughter*

I certainly hope the plot twists and overall story are actually as gutsy as y'all make it sound. SC and Ao set a precedent for craziness in end-arc games before, so this has to deliver.
Any hints that this ends the Erebonia arc or at least the main plot?
It's like 100% Hearthstone just slower because of how positioning works. Might be good later on but I didn't feel the need to really get into it in this playthrough.
Sounds less random than Blade, which I bet some will like (though I must have figured out the most reliable way to win at Blade or something).

Holy crap at all the black spoiler bars in this thread and apparently there are already people that beat the game/reached end game? And here I am still fiddling with chapter 1 and just finished Sunday...

Rean really really likes fishing eh.
