It sounds like from the middle of the road and lower end reviews, many issues could be ironed out in a balance patch.
Got mine at local store in quebec, must be a BB problem.

Just had a 2 hour run in the game and I'm even happier than I was before. It just plays beautifully on PC and didn't encounter a single issue. Finished the first big dungeon and it's gonna be mad fun getting to the rest of them. What a great game, not a single complaint.
The game won't be available digitally on Switch?

Played this for a bit. Looks like a good JRPG. The battle system has the sort of heft to the hits that I appreciate (compared to compile heart games where it seems that all you ever do is graze the enemies).

It's cool that Airship is giving folks waiting for their physical copies of the game a digital copy to download in the meantime. I opted for a physical copy on Switch, so my wait is even longer, but I'm torn on what to get the digital copy on.
Following the beta, I know what I'm getting performance wise on my computer (mid-2012 i7 Mac). I'm sure the PS4 and XB1 versions are great/solid, but I'm hesitant to go with either of those because the downgrades, however small or large, will be painfully obvious when I finally get it on Switch.

It did auto-saves on the beta - there was an icon that'd show on the bottom right - but I don't know if it's the same on the final release.

Two hits from killing the dungeon boss and I get my 4th crash of the day. I love this game, but the technical issues are unacceptable.
One side quest is totally bugged because the enemy doesnt spawn and you have to quit the game and reload.
PS4 version.

I know that doesnt help you, just so potential PC players dont get scared off.
just weapons. consensus on length seems to be 25+ for main story, 30-40 for main+sidequests and whatnot.

Seems like a really well designed game with great art-style, beautiful comic-style cutscenes, lovely environments and hidden treasures, detailed information in combat (precise ability info, buff info shortcut button, etc). The voice acting is excellent as well.
The text size is a bit too small though for playing on the TV (PC version), and I hope they patch that. The overcharge system is interesting, but I need to play more to see its full potential.

This need to be patch ASAP. i mean i lost a lot of progress because of that. But they mention in the forum they tweak some gameplay thing and this bug is on the list.
I don't recommended to anyone on PS4 to buy now, This is unacceptable.
Too bad i was having a real great time.... this first dungeon on Heroic is so much fun.

It has native dualshock 4 support complete with dualshock prompts. Feels very natural to play with on PC.

Played 3 hours last night. I'm really liking it. The dungeons are surprisingly lengthy. I have been waiting for more Battle Chasers since 2001. lol. It's a dream come true.
Quick question though. I'm playing on PC. Did they forget to put in an option in the main menu to close the game? Or was I just missing it? I had to quit to the title screen then Alt-Tab and hard close the application.

Right under that is Save & Exit.
For the difficulty, they said they will adjust a little bit XP gain on the second half of the game because the grind is a little too high. They will also correct a bug that money given in chest during later dungeon doesn't work as entended, so they seeem to say this will balance thing off They will also reduce price crafting upgrade building, because they saw that you outlevel too fast the item that crafting upgrade gave you. So make crafting useless during later in the game. Also said they will up a little bit the loot drop, but not by much, just to balance equipment drop for every caracther.
Other then that yeah the crash patch need to come really fast.

If you haven't read the day 1 patch notes. Tney are hilariously written. Saw them on my ps4 review copy and had me laughing.
Anyone far in (after 3rd dungeon I think) able to answer a potential spoiler for me? I afked at one point after clearing and walking out of a dungeon and apparently something happened after that loading screen but I have no idea what.
After clearing junktown going to the world map I was in the other room and heard combat. I ran over and I was on an airship being attacked by 3 tough enemies that caused my first wipe. I have no idea what happened or if I missed some story. Figured I'd be ok to get a drink waiting for the world map to load, but I guess not.
Its a random event. Happened to me once when I was afk, and once while I was playing.

Really enjoying the combat. I like the variety of perks you can select to build your character. Just finished the first dungeon in Heroic mode and the boss was a really cool design. Fight was fairly easy with devs giving us free regen, but since this is the first dungeon, it is somewhat understandable.
Did this release on retail in the UK?

Ive put about 10 hours in on xb1 with no crashes. The only technical hiccup I have seen is it takes 2-3 seconds after going to the menus for them to actually work.
