The peanut butter sandwich hack nobody asked for

For a video featuring sriracha and curry powder being put on a PB+J sandwich, this was still the most perplexing thing to me:

What was this even doing here?

Literally in tears from reading the comments on this video.

I don't... I don't understand. There are words and images here, but they don't make any sense. There's a order to them, a pattern, but the pattern is unknowable. The gibberings of a lunatic, laid out before me. They form a picture, the unblinking eye of madness, and I gaze into it.
i made this and the walls started bleeding and i woke up in the hospital

>Do the same with Mountain Dew.
>Mix both concentrates
>Take a syringe and inject yourself the mixture
>Enjoy your MLG pro gaming live

I don’t want to sound gate-keepy, but wait til you have kids. If you can pre-prep something like this during nap time, you can later quickly whip out a couple PBJ’s when your kids are screaming for food randomly. Goes right up there with squirtable jelly

I have kids (only one that's pbj age), but it takes me like 30-40 seconds to make 3 pbj sandwiches from start to finish. I really can't see how this would help in any way.

Waiting for peanut butter to thaw is much quicker than just spreading it on bread...

You would've had to deal with kids complaining about the weird, cold, peanut butter slabs on their sandwiches.

just wait until you have octuplets who only eat peanut butter sangwiches and they have a dietary need to eat them every hour so you need to become a human peanut butter sandwich factory

then you wont be laughing at this life hack so much will you

Wish you guys would stop bumping this thread, because it has caused me to overthink this shit. Now I can't help but wonder why a snack that takes a couple minutes to create has had at least an hour added on top of it. Why?

Took three pages until this post! C'mon GAF!

Why does she look like she's about to burst into tears throughout the video?

She was getting waaay too emotional/anxiety over this. Maybe her ex husband that cheated on and dumped her taught this trick to her?

To be fair, I'd want to cry too if I had to make a video centered on massively overcomplicating a simple task.

The only way this has any merit is if it were to be used for school lunches, meaning you could put the sandwich in a bag and it wouldn't need a cold pack and would be thawed by lunchtime. Of course, neither bread nor peanut butter need to be refrigerated.

Unless you're refrigerating your peanut butter (in which case you're a goddamned animal and should be ashamed of yourself) you should have no problem spreading room temperature peanut butter on any type of bread.

Also, her peanut butter slices are thick as hell. Way too much peanut butter for one sandwich.

Also cut it a bit too big and it melted around the bread.

You can fix these problems by doing some simple calculus to determine the surface area expansion of the peanut butter as it thaws and flattens as a function of time.

Do you want to make an easy PB&J or not, damnit?

I actually love this hack, don't hate unless you've tried it!

My favorite thing about this hack is how quick it is! Only takes a few hours in the freezer, unlike other amazing recipes like Doritos Consomme.

"Take your pan off the heat and let it steep for 30 minutes, like you're making a Dorito tea."

Am I looking at pickled...pickles?

Well, what do you think pickles are made from? Cucumbers or something?

Life hack: put the pb in the fridge after you stir it for the first time. You'll never need to stir it again.

I always put it in the fridge after stirring funny enough, but sometimes if it's left out on the counter and has liquefied a bit, I'll just pour it out onto my bread rather than use either a knife or spoon.

I honestly wouldn't mind having some peanut butter slices like cheese that I keep hanging around if I just want to slap it onto some bread before heading out for the day.

But I also don't attack my bread like I'm out for blood like this lady apparently does so ionno.

What was this even doing here?

People like to dunk brownies in milk, like cookies.

Most brownies are cut into squares which makes dunking them difficult.

So cutting brownies into triangles allows easy dipping.

Yes, I agree. This 'HACK' is something a stay at home parent who has too much time on their hands but swears "OMG IM SO BUSY ALL DAY" (even though their kids are old enough dress themselves and don't get home from school until almost 4pm) would come up with.

"OMG I HAVE SO MANY ERRANDS TO RUN...OMG"...I hate these people at the bus stop. I do more before and after I go to work than they do all day...these are the "OMG I MADE FROZEN SLABS OF PB AND NOW I TOTALLY HAVE TIME TO GO TO THE GYM" people...I lift at 9pm after I spend all night with my kids...get bent.

Sorry, I feel better now. :)
