My coworker takes pictures of me while I'm asleep

CoworkerGAF I don't know what to think about this. I take naps instead of a lunch sometimes.

This has happened a few times already and I'm conflicted because I like this person. Almost have a little crush on her too.

Not the biggest fan of people doing things while I'm unconscious though. Am I overreacting?

What's the weirdest thing you deal with from coworkers?

How do I know this is a thing? She walks up to me after I wake and shows me.

Why the fuck are you sleeping at work?

Edit: Wow, skipped the end of your first sentence. My bad.

That being the case, ya... that's kinda creepy

Maybe she knows you have have a crush on her and this is her way of flirting. You say she's already weird right?

Is it, like, to draw little hats and goofy things on the picture as joke? Or for some private collection she keeps pinned in her closet above her bubblegum alter of you?

Can you explain the situation a little better? I've never really slept around coworkers enough to have to worry about them taking my picture.

He naps during lunch, as mentioned in the OP. That isn’t an issue at my workplace either.

The OP was edited, it didn't initially say he was napping on break.

She probably thinks you're cute when you sleep. Either that or she secretly knows you like her and thinks you're creepy and wants to show your boss pics of you sleeping and claim you're sleeping on the job to get you fired.

I uh, I wish you well. Does she know that you know that she is doing this? Is she doing this as a joke to the other coworkers?

If she knows you know, and you dig her, take pictures of her or some shit lol spin it to make it a nice icebreaker

She likes to watch you sleep, so ask her if she'd like to watch you sleep in your bed at home. Then make finger guns and wink.

I know someone who had this happen to him and retaliated by taking pictures of his coworker while he was taking a piss. Don't do this.
He lost his job. Obviously.

Maybe ask her out. Then if it works out, she can take pics of you while you're asleep outside of work.

Uuuuuh did she mention why she does that? Does she delete the pictures afterward? That is kinda weird. I don't think you're overreacting. If she does it again maybe just ask politely if she would refrain as it makes you uncomfortable.

I hate having pictures taken, especially sneak shots where I don't have the option of controlling my pose or face while it's being taken (in order to get a slightly less ugly shot), and I think a lot of people feel the same or can understand, if you need to make something up to explain it to her. Since you're into her, if you're smooth you can try a line like, "maybe I could have you take some dick pics instead
wait no don't say that

If she shows you the photos then she probably thinks there's no harm done.

Does it feel creepy or mean-spirited? Because if it doesn't have fun with it - it might get you somewhere. Pretend to sleep and catch her in the process.

If she's showing you, as opposed to posting it on Snapchat or sharing it with your other coworkers, it sounds like she's harmlessly flirting.

I mean, if you're into her, there are about a dozen different ways you could turn this into an easy date invite...if you just want to be friends, tell her in a not too serious tone that it's weird. You'll both have a laugh and move on.

If you want to burn all bridges, make huge stink of it, tell her she's violating your personal space, and get HR involved.

She takes pictures of you.

You have a crush on her.

Ask her "hey why do you take pics of me" but say it in a playful way. Its your ticket in to get to know the person and maybe love?

It's kind of cute. It's something she'd probably only do if she liked you, or disliked you.

Bring it up in a joking, playful way during a conversation and see where it goes.

I have never let on that I have a liking to her. GAF is first to know, tbh. I keep it professional because I like where I work and want to keep moving up on $$$.

The latter sounds..... like something she would do if she had a thing against me. She keeps complimenting me in front of other coworkers though so I doubt it.

If there was only one post I'd pay attention to in this thread it'd be this one OP.

Where do you go to sleep? If its anywhere but your car or office then Id say its fair game to take pictures.

Not coworkers, but I learned a girl who asked me out actually asked her friend to take secret pictures of me before she asked.

Err... Next time reply "How would you feel if I took pictures of you sleeping?"

Start a arguement about trump

You will either get her fired based on that other thread
or
she will kiss you and give you $50

Maybe u should ask her out for dinner to discuss this problem u big pansy

I'm in a loving committed relationship. I'm not going to throw away what I've built with that person.

My coworker and I have a ton in common. Like, to the point if something goes on, all we have to do is look at each other and we know what the other is thinking.

.....shit. That didn't sound good at all.

It helps to give us all of the relevant information in advance.

I'm rescinding my investment in this sordid mess. Ask your coworker keep it professional.

subbed.

Lol dude she obviously likes you too if she’s taking random pictures of you. Just walk up and take random pictures of her sometimes. Download bitmoji and add stupid little images of your bitmoji doing dumb stuff in the picture too. Have fun with it.

It’s a picture. It’s not that serious.

Edit - Just saw the post about you being in a relationship. Idk what to tell you then. You could break up with your SO and go after her I guess, but that’s the douchey thing to do. If you’re scared of yourself getting involved with her, just tell her you’re not comfortable with her taking pictures of you. If your relationship with your SO is so great you shouldn’t be bothered much by how that might ruin things with your work crush.

Also, imo, there’s nothing wrong with having a “work girlfriend/boyfriend” as long as you two literally never see each other outside of work. But I’m usually in the minority on that sentiment.
