Yeah good time I was very impressed with how the game looked my son and nephew are super hyped for the X now. I love having that store so close and the game events they hold have been fun.Were you at Oakbrook tonight too? I was there and had a good time trying it out. I agree, the game looked incredibleCan't wait for mine to come in.
I wanted to ask what displays they were using but didnt get the chance. When we first got there they were setting them up and the systems had all kinds of dash options Id never seen should have taken pictures but we had to sign in.

I'll be playing, in no particular order:
1. Halo 5. Never finished the campaign so I'm excited to dive back in. 4K/60fps should be jaw dropping.
2. Quantum Break. I've always wanted to play this, but haven't yet. Love Remedy games. I also hear it's one of the best looking Xbox games.
3. The Witcher 3. Possibly my favorite game of all time. Should be amazing in 4K.
4. Cuphead. Obviously not a 4K showcase, but I'm dying to play this one regardless.
5. Forza Motorsport 7 demo. Not into racing games, but this should be a fantastic way so showcase the X.

On the week of, GS will offer $100 for original Xbox One, $150 for Xbox One S and $200 for PS4 PRo and/or Switch.
It kinda sucks that this isn't being offered now as I would love to go ahead and get rid of mine.
Is this flat across all storage models?
I have a 2 TB One S and would imagine that should net more than a regular 500 GB model. If not I'm better off selling it on Craigslist or eBay.

My pre-order originally stated 7 November as the delivery date. It was changed to the same as yours. I contacted Amazon to inquire and was told that Amazon is not receiving ANY project scorpio edition consoles prior to Friday, November 24, 2017. Yes you read that right. I repeatedly asked if this was indeed the case and pressed the CSR to verify that, despite how incredulous this might be, that Amazon was being left out of launch day Xbox One X. This was confirmed and the CSR stated that they consulted with others to confirm.
I literally ordered within seconds of this going live. I'm curious if anyone else has a similar experience with Amazon pushing back the order.

Why would Amazon of all places not have them on launch day? They have everything on launch day. This should be no exception.

Can anyone confirm they are still set for a launch day delivery on Amazon? I really think I'm getting screwed here. I literally ordered immediately upon the posting of the preorder. The only justification the CSR can provide is that they aren't receiving any. An order number of a pre-order showing 7 November delivery would be very helpful for me. If someone has one, could you please PM me?

My Amazon order has never had a delivery date and it was completed within 2 minutes of preorders going up. No way Amazon doesn't get them until Nov 24. That would be absurd.

I wouldn't trust Amazon for a second after the shit they pulled with the SNES Classic. They've been shitty on release date delivery for several items over the past year or so (4K UHDs, blu-rays, games, etc..). In my opinion, if you have any other option, I'd avoid Amazon for the XB1X.
I just realized that now that I will have two 4k devices I'll have to figure something out for my hookup situation. Right now my reciever and TV only have one port for 4k passthrough, which is currently in use by my PS4 Pro.
Does anyone know if the Xbox One X is going to support HDMI Passthrough similar to the Xbox One? And if so if it will pass through a 4k signal no trouble? Because then I'd be able to just have the Xbox One X plugged into the reciever and the PS4 Pro plugged into the HDMI In on the Xbox One X.

Won't work. Input lag will be to great on your PS4 to be enjoyable.

Mine has always said delivery date pending for my Amazon order....I'm not too worried, PS4 & PS4 Pro were the exact same way. They fix the date a week or 2 before it ships.
Plus I'm sure they already confirmed that the passthrough won't support 4K/HDR.
Well this is a huge bummer, but I'll figure something out, maybe I'll buy a 4K HDMI splitter or something.

Odd interaction you had with them. I chatted with an Amazon CSR 2 weeks ago and they promised I would get my Scorpio unit on launch day, and that the pre-order page says delivery date pending for everyone. I rephrased my question several times and there was no ambiguity. Amazon is sending Scorpios out for launch according to my CSR.

The CSR I chatted with said I would get it on launch day as well. But stated that was November 24th. After much back and forth, and allegedly asking someone higher up, they stuck with the 11/24 date... hoping the CSR was just misinformed.

Don't really know where to aks this,so maybe someone here can help me. I'm probably gonna buy an X, but not for now since it will be quite expensive here (upwards of $900). But my wife is traveling soon and she will have an 8 hour transit stop in Fiumicino airport (rome) in January. How likely is she going to be to find the Xbox One X in the duty free shop?
I have ordered a Nintendo N3DS/Switch, Playstation 4/Pro, Xbox One/S and now X through Amazon and all have safely arrived on release day. I would not worry my PS4 and Pro and Xbox One S had no delivery date until roughly 7-10 days before release.

Amazon pre-orders have always had a delivery date pending. Original e-mail from day pre-orders went live. Pre-ordered within seconds of going live.
After the nes classic bull shit I canned my amazon order because it listed this and just got it from Best buys

Only can use external HDD's. Seagate has been great for me. My system has a 5tb and my Wife's has a 4tb. I personally would recommend something in the 4tb range since Xbox One X Enhanced games, especially those that have 4k Texture packs will be taking up a lot more room. Getting a 1-2tb with the built in 1TB might get tight after a bit depending on how many games you have/plan to have. Prices have come down a lot...depends on your budget, but I would get the most amount of memory as you can. I would also get one that is 7200RPM that has it's own power source...most externals that use the USB for power are only 5200RPM drives.

I was pretty apprehensive about it, but I traded in the system after I traded in games and got a lot more than I expected back. And the process is easy enough. I just hate relying on UPS not losing my stuff.

By time I checked Amazon on the day pre-orders went live they were out of stock, so I pre-ordered from the Microsoft store. I`ve ordered a few things from them over the years and they usually ship quickly and on time, even here in Canada.

Seagate expansion 4tb is 5200 though.
Youll have to research any before buying. Ive found most 4 tb and up are5200.
