I agree though, a lot of cases apply of course, but other times it seems making a mistake at one point in your life is an unforgivable offence that makes you a bad person for ever. Aqua-man making a shitty joke years ago? Really? that qualifies as a milkshake duck with the likes of Bill Cosby?

Did a search and didn't see him mentioned, but Toby Turner, aka Tobuscus. He's a youtuber who did "literal trailers" where he would narrate a trailer to the background music, and it was really funny. Followed him for a while, watched his lets plays and his vlogs...

And then in 2016 he was accused of drugging a girl and sexually assaulting her. Turned around and never looked back. I don't even know what came of the accusation. A quick google search tells me he's still doing youtube vids and has apparently grown a really patchy beard, but I just can't bring myself to care.

Of course I can't find where I saw it because it's lost in all the Internet outrage, but there's context here. Obama says, "Turns out I'm really good at killing people," quietly and regretfully, as it's something he didn't expect to happen. It's a reflective statement, not a bragging one. And for all the faults of this program, at least Obama signed off on each and every one, and acknowledges the blood on his hands.
