Xbox One X Enhanced Games - Full List of Titles and Details

I am in the pr view program. Should I be reinstalling my games to make sure they are ready for Scorpio or will this issue hopefully correct itself in the final build and Scorpio updates will install as they are supposed to?

So there is a new update coming out for Dying Light. Anyone think they will put out a patch for the X?

I've been tweeting them since enhanced edition launched asking about a Pro patch. No response yet.

Bought the game at launch for $60 but have yet to actually play it because I was holding out for a patch. Would live to see them patch it for XOX and Pro.

I preordered a One X, even if I don't own a 4K TV yet, since I hope the Supersampling feature will "enhance" the visual experience.

So the question is, do I need to download the 4K assets to take advantage of Supersampling?
Offcourse. Otherwise nothing to downsample then.
This is not necessarily the case. Downsampling does require the game to be rendering internally at higher resolution than the screen it's hooked to. So in order to get old games to break through the previous 1080p barrier, you'll need to download patches.

But patches can make the game render higher even without new assets. This is what happens for most games on PS4 Pro, for example. Right now, it seems on One X that 4K assets are being joined together with the engine patches as a single download. But it would be possible to offer them separately, in case some customers wanted to control their download sizes.

Also, as we move forward, I'd think that new games will come with multimode-capable builds already on the disc. But with base game sizes getting bigger, very large 4K assets might not fit alongside, and be a separate download instead. You could still get downsampling benefits without those assets, though of course the game would look even better if you did download them.

When I saw the presentation of next week's Xbox update on "This Week on Xbox", it got me thinking about 4K assets. I preordered a One X, even if I don't own a 4K TV yet, since I hope the Supersampling feature will "enhance" the visual experience.

I guess it depends if the 4K assets are separate to the X patch.
You will get an improvement with better textures , even at 1080p

I believe the X also defaults to the higher quality download regardless. There's no reason for it to download the base Xbox One assests if there is a X1X enhanced download available.

I wouldn't bother, after all the final version of the firmware hasn't been released yet so I'm not really concerned that things haven't updated. I think when the full release happens this week things will start coming together and it's really not going to be a secret when the X downloads are available to everybody.

I wouldn't really think about downloading again unless you're seeing that everybody else's game has been updated and for some reason your hasn't when it should have been. Understandably, everybody wants their games sorted out as quickly as possible but the final firmware still hasn't been released and there's three weeks to go until Scorpio launches. I'd like me to be updated too but I'm not concerned that they haven't updated yet.

Sunset Overdrive doesn’t have announced support. The Xbox One X enhanced games Wikipedia entry has had it cited with a really good photoshop from twitter claiming all of the Sunset Overdrive enhanced features, but the replies confirmed it as the work of a fan. Forbes contributor is probably referring to the same.

Multiple other lists also show it but it’s all a game of telephone tag, the original source is ALWAYS this one picture on twitter:

Bummer. Was really hoping they would but not surprised they aren't spending the time to update it.

Returned my 4K TV for a refund and went back to my Panasonic Plasma.

The ghosting from CBR and poor HDR output from the Pro (combined with my TV not being that great) I think I just want to enjoy proper 1080p gaming for a while.

I"m really excited about all the downsampled goodness coming my way. Also about the games getting 1080/60 modes.

If you have a plasma, the only way forward for you is OLED. HDR is glorious on it. Not sure why you think the PS4 has poor HDR. That’s simply not true.

What TV did you have? The HDR output from the Pro has been great so far.

Must have been my TV. I had the 43UJ654T which was bought mostly because of the input lag which is incredible. But I didn't realise how poorly it would handle colour and motion. It's really bad.

Having said that, I know the PS4 Pro has to be at least PARTIALLY at fault because I tested my One S on it (the One S normally resides in another room) and the HDR on Forza and Gears looked better than in Horizon and Uncharted 4. Colour just in general seemed to be handled better with the One S which I assume means the PS4 Pro maybe just isn't doing the same job. But HDR in general on that TV isn't great and it's ESPECIALLY bad in Game Mode. Just looks washed out as all hell

But I acknowledge the TV isn't great.

I"M definitely going ot hold out and invest in an OLED next year.

You need to find a UHD premium certified TV, or don't bother.

I’ll come out/won’t mince words: and say that TV is entry-level poop.

Seriously, OLED + Uncharted 4/Horizon: Zero Dawn HDR is breathtaking.

I'm going to say it was entirely the TV. I can see how some may find Uncharted underwhelming in HDR, I thought it was great, but HZD looks amazing in HDR. Easily one of the best examples out there. To be fair, I haven't seen any Xbox games in HDR besides Forza 7 on the PC.

Fair enough. I initially blamed the TV, but then saw an improvement when I tested the One S (still not great, but an improvement) so put a bit of the blame on the Pro.

Uncharted 4 made my eyes bleed on lg oled.

I didn't know about that tweet. Yeah I wasn't expecting it anymore but it just sucks so much. Of all Xbox One exclusives this one should get one. I wonder if someone from MS can't take it up him with a couple guys to make that patch. I mean didn't MS also make a Mighty No 9 patch themselves? Or perhaps like QB with how one Remedy guy is making a patch? Sigh, such a shame.

Game would look crazy to this day in a higher resolution and better AA.

That enhanced Sunset Overdrive image has been around for months, but I hope that all the talk about it, including Forbes listing it shows how much fans want an update.

It would even drive sales up again. I certainly want it, adding on to an-already gorgeous game is something everyone would appreciate.

When does MS start typing this thing?
Release some direct feed vids of enhanced titles, let DF disect them, get everyone talking.

Our are they being quiet for a reason?
So far we have only seen tomb raider, ass creed and forza 7.

I thought the effect was a bit more subtle than other games like Horizon Zero Dawn, GTS, or Resounding but still looked awesome. I have other friends that didn't notice any major difference in the game though.

This was the driving level and the one after in the boat - Bright greens and Blues are eye melting

Thanks.. Hows the input lag?

Haven't noticed any lag whilst playing on Xbox or PS4
