He should be smart enough to know his strengths and go to the post. Run there and demand the bal. idk why he keeps shooting 3's when he's missing them all.

May be trying to stay out of the post to avoid contact and risk another injury? Who knows

So his whole career will be stand and shoot 3's? So much for him being an amazing player since he killed his potential.

He just said his teammates aren't passing him the ball in the post so obviously it can't be that.

I watched the Hornets game from last night and it's so annoying watching Dwight do Dwight things. Blaming guards for tough entry passes that bounce out of his hands. Acting visually upset on possessions when a shot goes up without him getting a post touch. Diving lazily off of pick and rolls when Zeller shows that if you just go 100% then Kemba (and Batum when he gets back) will get you easy baskets. At least he is putting the effort into rebounding and going for emphatic dunks instead of lazy putbacks. The Hornets forgo offensive rebounding to get back on defense but Dwight just seems to ignore that and it's actually paying off so far.

He passed a guy who is a defensive specialist? Oh man so crazy. Lakers fans...
Bev shut down a first game rookie? Oh man so crazy.

It's sad there's a few people who were running their mouths the other day who can't see it's just a tiny bit funny that Lonzo surpassed the career high of a 300 game player in game number 2 as a 19 year old.

I think Randle is going to be traded by all star break if his attitude doesn’t improve as well as his defense. He took a lot of stupid shots yesterday. Got burned no matter who he was in front of. But I’m not sure who would want him at this point. Maybe the knicks??

Lakers will be looking to dump one of their long term contracts (Deng, Clarkson ect) in any Randle deal so i'd start there. Utah has been looking for a PF so thats a good starting point

Edit: Utah, Sacramento and Dallas seem like the best options

Edit: Dallas might be a good fit. Something like Randle + Clarkson for Wes Mathews (Player Option)

Nobody is taking Deng for a few months of Randle, especially not a FO as good as Utah (doubt they have any interest in Clarkson either).

Players under team control (RFAs) are extremely valuable for small market teams. Utah also have Favors hitting the open market this offseason so they might have reasonable concerns about their PF situation.

Mostly its all about what the cost is. If Clarkson and Randle only costs Utah Joe Johnson's expiring contract and filler they would 100% think about it.

TBH id rather have JJ than Clarkson and I think Utah would too

Giannis is playing like a superstar right now, and so soon after his dad passed away as well. It's insane to me how a person so young (he's a couple years younger than me!) can maintain so much composure in such circumstances.

I'm excited to see his career unfold in the next couple years. Hopefully Jabari can make a sustainable recovery after his 2nd ACL tear because these 2 have the potential to form a terrifying dynamic duo.

Get out! In all seriousness I hope it's a good season

OKC is a great pick because Westbrook is an athletic freak, Paul George is really smooth, and Melo plays Old Man Ball. Each player has the ability to take over and you'll have a chance to watch them all mesh together.

I don't speak on the Lakers 'cause they died to me once Kobe tapped out. 😤

Enjoy the season, homie.

choose wisely which team will be worthy fucking up your sleep cycle for

go East

OKC Thunder is great. One of the best crowds and support for their players. Even last year when we lost one of the best on the league we aold out every game.

300 sellour arenas in a row.

We just got two great players and may have a hell of a season. Could make a run...but GSW is 2 gud

I do believe that Lavar is a good guy, but it also seems a bit obvious that he would make a show that makes himself look good :p

OKC for sure. Lakers will be interesting but frustrating this year. OKC is ready to contend and has a line up that's both experienced but are a fresh combination.

Cheers dudes.

I've always been a super casual but I listen to tons sports podcasts and watch a lot of highlights so I know a fair bit in terms of specific players, what franchises are going through, and all that - nothing too deep, but I've been that level of casual for years so I know some stuff, which is why I'm torn between OKC and Lakers.

On the one hand, Lakers seem like a good point to jump on the bandwagon cause it's a young team that's essentially a fresh start for the franchise, and growing up in Europe, they were still a big name, which also makes it boring cause I'm a casual Dodgers fan already.

OKC is the team I want to succeed the most cause Westbrook is a fucking DON. He always got something of a bad rep whenever I heard of him, but I just saw a dude that was just fiercely competitive in a game he loves he gives his all too, and I can't really fault that, plus I think a lot of it came down to people misunderstanding him - but, again, casual. Also, for the narrative, I'd like Westbrook to win a ring after Durant left. I hold nothing against Durant for leaving, but I do feel he took the easy way to that ring. Wins are wins and rings are rings, but I think if he had won it at OKC it would have meant a whole lot more to him than winning it with the Warriors. But fuck it, he's a grown man capable of making his own decisions.

Alternatively, I also thought of supporting the Cavs because I like the narrative of LeBron getting back on that mountain. I've also been a fan of JR Smith for a while, I just like his style of play. My brother is a fan though, so as a rule I tend to shit on his teams and pick whoever they playing against, but I don't like Golden State, and my Scottish mate would disown me if I supported the Celtics, so it comes down to OKC and LAL.

LAL would work cause I also like baseball and the Dodgers are the only team I support, but player for player, I just like OKC a bit better.

I'm gonna think on this a bit more.

I wish I lived in vegas and had access to legal gambling. That Knicks over line is free money. They'll be lucky to win 12 games this year.

You ain't gotta live in Las Vegas to have access to legal gambling. It's as easy as turning on a VPN if you're genuinely interested.

I hate begging but put me in the invite boat. Long time member (since 2008) that rarely posted, however I lurked every day and still felt connected to the community that way. Would love to be apart of that again.
