Yes, we have built up such a great community...I dunno what will come of it, but yes, CAG is a great alternative for selling and trading. I will go wherever most you guys go as long as it is not a more hostile environment. I might even do my best to create a alternative.

FYI: We did start a Discord, but we are waiting to see how this pans out.

B/S/T depends a lot on the reputation every person has in the community. Discord does not have such a thing.

We will keep you posted.

As others have said: Please be careful doing transactions atm.

I've only sold a snes classic before the forums went down though i might just hold off on buying or selling stuff till things are sorted out.

I'm really gonna miss this thread if everyone else is leaving :lol Not really planning on going anywhere but it looks like everyone else is.

I think for the most part the account barrier to entry kept this thread relatively scammer-free compared to say, CAG. Got burnt there twice and vowed never to trade there again.

Hell no. Definitely won't do business outside of GAF. Who I buy from and sell to depends on reputation. I like the system we have here.

Same here, I stopped trading or visiting CAG after getting scammed twice there a couple years back. I've never had an issue here and I love how there is one big thread with individual posts instead of individual threads for everyone. Well good luck guys, I'm gonna stay here as long as possible and ride it out until GAF is gone or a graveyard. 👍

I'll be sticking around to make transactions as long as there is still an active community. Any info that anyone can give me regarding a better BST thread anywhere else is appreciated. I've never really looked into CAG before.

The discord sounds like a nice idea but how do we vet people? This thread is MUCH bigger than it looks on the surface because the feedback thread has tons of people that never post here.

This wouldn't work for people already banned but we could send a PM via NeoGAF to whoever is managing the discord channel with our Discord username and number.

I'm going to stick around because I enjoy doing transactions here. If others are going to leave and are looking to trade/sell your games elsewhere then CAG(Cheapassgamer) and GTZ(Game Trading Zone) are a couple of good sites that I still use.

CAG isn't a terrible option, but you'll really have to do your homework there, and be much more cautious.

Here, there's definitely much more of a relaxed mood, and not as much need to be so cautious, so makes it a bit easier to do the bst'ing.

As a previously extremely active BST seller, with a platinum seller rating, I really wanted to be a part of this community again.

With recent incidents I do want to be part of an organize migration if that happens, or even a discord if there is one.

So I'm working with Cloggerdude and a few guys from the B/S/T thread, with the Discord group that was created recently due to the events of this past weekend.

For now, it will serve as the official discussion group to those that are interested, just in case something like this happens again.

I can't speak much for the group, but we are heavily interested in keeping this community alive and looking at options on how to proceed during the next few weeks during this "complicated" times.

I'll be up for a bit to accept any PMs. I will continue on tomorrow and any members of our group that can help out with the invites are more than welcome to assist.

I’m down for Discord, or even moving over to one of the other bigger alternatives that hasn’t gone online yet. I have a ton of feedback I’ve earned over the years, would hate for it to go to waste.

I don't think it's just one or the other.

If anything, it's going to be a companion thread for now, until the dust settles, and there's a clearer idea of the next step.

we aren't leaving for discord, it's a chat application and would be horrible for a thread like this.

we are merely using it as a way to easily chat with each other about what we should do going forward.

odds are there won't be a clear decision about anything for at least a few days.

I'd really hate to see this go I love this community and these best threads have been such a great help I was really starting to build my rep too which sucks guess I'm gonna have to check in on that discord.
