Street Fighter V |OTVIIII| New Generation - Fighting Game Is Something So Great

I have the physical disc and only play Vega, so I don't lose anything other than characters I don't play, and costumes I don't wear cause I like looking as barebones as possible.
If you play a DLC character you'll have to keep buying it.

Gotcha. I was thinking it had to work like that with DLC stuff

Is Hey, It's That Dog still here?

Ok

My modem is a Arris TG1682G modem from Spectrum Charter. Arris Modem uses Intel's Puma 6 which is defective and causes lag spikes in games. Modems with 5 and 7 also have this issue.

But the weird thing that it's suppose to cause huge packet loss and lag spikes to make games unplayable. A steam user showed a player using Virgin Media which also used the puma Chipset showing how bad the matches are. But I don't see that in any games I see myself in. And the connection quality have been consistent against PC players in North America.

I guess it was fixed.

Bought the cpt bundle since it was on sale. Mostly for Chun-Li's outfit and the stage since I hate Necalli and Cammy looks kind of bad with normal clothes in this game. I guess now we just need to see the battle costume bundle get a discount.

:O .

*eye twitches*

Read the second paragraph. There are multiple threads in the WoW forums talk about the packet loss and disconnect. As for me, my connection quality remain consistent when I only have the search to only PC. Playing against PS4 player is where most of my problems comes in because of the de-sync issue. I've ran to a certain player on 3 separate occasion and on the 3rd encounter, the match is unplayable with animation skipping.

Intel stated they released a firmware to fix the problem and my ISP may already distribute it.

What's the Discord group called? I might be a member. Can someone please send me an invite so I can confirm? Many thanks. :)

Was playing with a buddy trying out other characters(my main is Kolin). Was kinda looking for somebody a little gimmicky or easier to win with for shits and gigs and the character I feel in love with was....Ed. This is my curse in every fighting game.

A lot of people seem to resent him for that "characters as functions" comment. Selling the public on an x men-free "vs" game, was never going to be easy.

For sure, but this was a mistake easily avoidable, I can't believe he really said that lol.

But as the poster above said, PR was not his forte.

Hey. I know I never spoke to you on here, but good games! I played against you the other day. A Kolin. Username Hamonenchi. I recognized your name, but then gaf exploded.

I haven't been checking this thread regularly so I missed this.

GGs! Did you body me? I'm getting bodied by Kolins a lot lately.

I wouldn't call it a bodying but I think it was 2-1. Could've easily went your way! Feel free to add me if you want some matches! I can always use practice against Ken!

I saw Dogura use Urien's c.lp as an antiair a couple of times this weekend. I've never tried that. I'm sure it's not Guile tier, but does anyone have any experience with it?

There was some forum-wide drama. Google about recent NeoGAF news, and it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out where everyone is now.

This is my 30,000th post. I didn't want to leave GAF while so close from hitting this milestone. OCD and all that. So, I'm posting it in a thread that matters to me, which is unfortunately dead.

I've been at NeoGAF since its inception, and on the original GAF boards since 1999-2000 (its been too long to be sure). And while I am not gone entirely, the slow pace of the boards have made it hard to enjoy myself here. So I'm gonna take a break. And maybe things will pick up. And then I'll start posting again. Until then, I will bask in my 30,000 post mark like someone who severely needs professional counselling. Mmmmmm...

See ya round!
