Dipped back, but things are looking good for after the fork imo. Lots of progress from the team as far I as i can tell.
Dipped back immediately but doubt the news is well known yet. And hopefully it will mean good things after the fork and Asic craze is over.

I would be careful with XVG. You have billions of tokens with some guys waiting to unload millions of them just to break even. It might pump a little but be prepared to sell before the update. I would honestly be shocked if it pumped after that.

It's what usually happens in the crypto markets. The so called "buy the rumor, sell the news".
I could be wrong of course but every time I went against this, I lost money.
The updates themself are often more on the tech side and are not something to drive the price but the road to that update often fuels the fantasy of investors. Some few updates are also actually the start for a bull run after they get released so FOMO is involved before the release of these updates.

I'm learning a lot since I began in the summer. I held all my alts during the previous forks for no reason other than being lazy.
Not committing the same mistake now and it's paying off handsomely. I didn't sell all my alts though. Just enough to have some liquidity and make some gains on the side.

OMG has taken quite the beating the last 2 days. I just watched a whale or several take the price to $5.40 and then back up to $6.70 in a matter of a few minutes. I'm still waiting to get back to that $5.50 mark which it will to get some more.

I don't care for the fork but that doesn't mean I'm going to hold alts now. Is it possible that some of them will go up before the fork? Sure, but looking at previous forks, it's not worth the risk. I will buy back into alts right before the fork happens instead. I'm pretty much just holding BTC and BCH now.

What a ride. This has been the most successful trading night of my life. I duplicated my stack of BTC in roughly 6h but those were nerve wrecking hours for sure. Not for the faint of heart.
I was margin trading with 100x leverage sometimes and came close by about $3 to getting completely liquidated. I was sweating bullets but I didn't panic or get greedy and took profits in batches of 10%. I never deviated from my plan and it payed off. More than earning money, this night was a very successful educational experiment.
I'm still high from excitement and not sleepy at all. The urge to continue trading is considerable but I'm quitting for today.

That's what i should have done a weeks ago. Really don't understand why i have been so indecisive. Now i feel stuck, like I really Can't sell my alts at such low prices while BTC is already this damn high.
I feel like I really do need to ride it out now. Just hope my alts arent completely worthless by the time the fork is over.
Never too late to sell. I reckon alts will be 20-50% lower, while btc will be 10-30% higher in next two weeks before the fork

I would agree. I'm already out of all my alts and am riding the BTC train. BTC could hit $10k at this rate.
