I'm re-downloading 3 patched Xbox ONE X games (Forza, Gears and Halo 5) to my XBOX S external USB drive. Can I just unplug the drive and plug it into the X tomorrow and be able to play them or do you HAVE to download them to the S internal drive and then transfer to an external. Is it as simple as just installing games to an external and plugging it into another XBOX?

Aussie. Its already 10:30am here so already ran through a few games. Quantum break and Halo 5 are such a massive improvement. COD WW2 was a little disappointing and about to try AC:O and Wolfenstein

Can someone check if the apps launch faster than before?

I intend to use mine quite a bit for tv, tv, tv so this is kinda important to me.

Mine should be delivered today! I wasn't really expecting overnight delivery so I'm pleasantly surprised (ordered from JB hifi last week and shipped yesterday from interstate).

Wolfenstein II will probably be the first game I play on it, been anticipating it for ages yet somehow didn't play it on PS4.

I'm also going to buy Friday the 13th since I play the fuck out of that game on PS4, even if the Aus community on Xbox isn't very good (or big).

It's been nearly 5 years since I regularly played my X360, it feels good to be back.

I expect my PS4 (which will be upgraded to a Pro in the not too distant future) will still be my main console, but this thing looks like it'll be awesome for multiplatform games and UHD Blu Ray. I ordered Planet Earth II, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, the original Blade Runner, and The Town on UHD BR the other day which will be delivered today with the console. The 4K TV I bought more than a month ago hasn't played anything above 1080p as yet, so I'm excited haha.

Can't wait to check out some of the BC X360 games also, enhanced or not.

So it's Monday night and I'm feelin' good about my X1X Scorpio Edition GameStop pre-order. There's no midnight release at GS in Gurnee Mills but there is at the GS across the street. which is okay as I'd rather wait until morning now because Comcast is having problems that've been affecting my area so might until that's resolved.

Meanwhile, I'm listening to...

Welp, already having issues with my regular 1X...it didn't want to stay powered on at first and would just shut off. It is downloading the initial 783 MB update now so hopefully just a fluky thing.

I'm trying to be patient. 1:15 left before I can pickup my X1. I am a little concerned with the Titanfall 2 problem, but sure it will get fixed. I am so confused about X1 patch for cod ww2. It says 4k HDR right on the box yet I am hearing no patch yet?

While some of this may be cringeworthy, it’s also nice to see gamers excited about their hobby and this product.

The XBO:X truly is an engineering marvel, and it gives me hope for the future of this hobby and the next generation of consoles, whenever that may be.

Now to wait for the Amazon driver to come with my console...

Just ran to 3 different GameStop’s and one 30 miles from me had a project Scorpio in stock! I never preordered since I didn’t think I would have the money.

I traded in $800 worth of old games and phones that some family members gave me. Picked up the Scorpio, $200 in Microsoft points and a SNES classic. This is like Christmas to me!

Thanks man I’m so freaking excited. Just got home and gonna hook it up! I called ahead and some real nice guy said they had a cancellation and had one Scorpio and held it for me until I got there.

PSA: The games you patched and didn't show up as X1X Enhanced on an original Xbox One, do show as enhanced on an X1X without any additional patching.

I am picking up a 4k TV post launch and have a question about 1080p TVs.

The Xbox One X super samples and has lots of benefits for gaming.

Does 'super sampling' also work for YouTube, Netflix, and 4K UHD's?
