The shirts passed 2K inspection, hundreds of them... At worst I figured they would stop people from making new shirts that contained copyrighted logos but I didn't think they would take them back from me after I already paid for them.

I bought VC for other things such as leveling up and boost, I just happened to have VC left over so I bought shirts. I won't contact my CC company over this, it's not really about the money spent, it's the shadty business tactics they are using. I am not the only one affected in my household over this, my son also lost shirts and he doesn't have his own money, he has my money and he's a kid so he won't complain to 2K for lost VC...

You definitely don't want to do a chargeback on your card as MS and/or Sony will ban your account I believe. This is because the charge goes through them and not 2K directly. You need to try and speak to their support and explain what is going on and see if they can get you the refund proper. 2K really could face legal action over this. This is why games like Forza don't charge for the custom liveries as they know policing it would be tough and they don't want to get accused of selling others copyrighted work for profit, so liveries are free to download.

After they got caught they removed like 95% of the shirts that were being sold and the remaining shirts are now free.. They know they fucked up. I did get a full refund but only after these stories started popping up on the interment. The said it was for my "patience" but refused they were at fault.

Sounds like a typical publisher these days. Hopefully, you are not the only one that gets a refund. Good job on not backing down and getting the games media involved. That's probably the only reason they caved in and refunded you.
