Thanks for taking the time to make this thread. So Tadaima will be back eventually?

Degenki has Splatoon over 2 million already.

Monter Hunter 3DS is back on the chart and the Switch no frills port is over 200K. Which makes one wonder, due to the impossibility of World to be on the Switch what would have been the impact of an actual remake of Double Cross that took better advanatge of the hardware. Amazing the amount of shortsight of Japanese companies, the least the Swtch could have done in the native territory was going to be 3DS numbers, so in reality there was not such a high risk to invest in the platform early on.

Btw, im not saying the above talking in hindsight, it is what i was actually specting for the Switch to do.

And those Bomber Man numbers keep surprising. It was clearly a low budget project so the margins most be really good.

Dragon Quest XI charts again and from the PS4 version, which is a surprise and not at the same time since after all there's more interest in PS4 software than the 3DS since the platform is more fresh.

Next week, Monster Hunter World numbers or is it the next next one?

I wonder what spiked the Mario + Rabbids numbers? (I assume they spiked). Maybe the upcoming DLC announcement?

The game just released in Japan this week. That's why it's in bold as well and there's the release date on that line :).

I believe so? I know he's been busy recently, but I'm unsure for how long.

It's funny because DQ11 didn't really have much legs on PS4 (3DS had slightly better legs), and doesn't have these legs in any other tracker. It actually was the top selling used game for the PS4 last year iirc.

Next week, Monster Hunter World numbers or is it the next next one?
Yup it's next week (aka this Wednesday we should have MC / Famitsu #s for it.

Thank you.
Sure np.

Very glad to see Xenoblade 2 hanging in there, although barely. Would be nice to have a chart comparing sales of all 3 Xenoblade-games.

Switch still supply-constrained. I wonder when/if we'll find out about 2018's production capacities. Still problems because of NAND-shortages?

Next week mhw, eh? Can't say I'm wishing the game the best. Don't get me wrong, I've got a PS4, but with MHXX as a precedent, a successful mhw would likely work against the chances for a Switch-mh in the west (or handheld-mh in general. If there was a Vita 2, a release on that would be fine, too). Capcom's treatment of existing mh-fans was terrible.

It was a great start for Mario + Rabbids. And I was thinking that the game would debut with less than 30k. And finally Monster Hunter XX for Switch reached the 200k milestone. Which is a pity because next week Monster Hunter World numbers will make the game vanish from the history, like the Wii U.

In old times, this thread would have got 200 pages of people saying how superior World is and why it will sold 10 millions in Japan alone and why the Switch can't run the game, and how Nintendo has killed the franchise e so on.

I share the same feeling, if Monster Hunter World sell a lot, which is quite possible, the odds to a new game for Switch or a port will be drastically reduced, and even if the game flops, I don't think that Capcom will say that the game failed to meet expectations. I know that this is off-topic, but I am very curious to see how it will sell outside Japan.

Consumers clearly showing they didn’t like the direction Nintendo was going in with Wii/Wii U.

Super Mario 3D World was nothing compared to Odyssey.

With information that Capcom provide regarding Monster Hunter World, which according to them has crossed the 5 million mark, of units shipped and sold digitally. I am very curios to see how many units were sold in Japan.

5 million is a very convenient number, which put Monster Hunter World above all other Monster Hunter in terms of sales, and if they really sold that amount, it will be the 4th or 5th most sold game ever.

In what way, if I may ask? It'd the first mainline mh to release worldwide simultaneously. Ofc it reaches certain global ltd sales faster than past entries in the franchise.

Dito J japanese sales, those will be most interesting. As well as if Capcom reaches a shipped number 6-7 mio or beyond and doesn't sit on the '5 mio shipped!' news forever.
