Currently deciding what to do. I ripped the TV out the spare room so it's downstairs atm. Sad times.

This is an old photo of one of my favourite places to game. Have improved it a bit since then. MAME cabinet running HyperSpin. Have spent many hours playing this, it’s like a gaming museum.

Will need to take a new photo of my console space and post that too.

Seeing as I do most of my gaming in the bedroom these days, I thought I’d update the kit in there and go down the 4K route.

Got a Sony 65A1, Denon AVR-X4400H and Apple TV 4K 64GB:

Well impressed with the A1. I think I’ve finally found a worthy successor to the Kuro!

Because of the wide angle lens used, and then perspective correction, the centre appears lower in relation to the bed than it is in reality. 👍🏻

Great Sony OLED and now i see why they changed this years model.

That TV is sticking out quite a bit due to design. Great TV

Also great job on the wires.

You did that ?

Cheers!

Yea the rear of the A1 has an easel stand that houses all the electronics, which causes the extra protrusion from the wall when mounted. I’ve been used to the ‘floating’ appearance for years as my 46X3500 which was there previously had quite a depth to it also.

Re: the wires, yep I’ve done all my own installation over the last 10 years. You can see where I started from in my gallery over on Blu-Ray.com. 👍🏻

Not changed to much,my diy loft conversion is in need of a lick of paint again and I might change the X1S to a X1X depending on future releases but for now everything works as intended and my pc still gets the most use but wll be adding more Arura RGB soon.

Planning on picking up an LGB7 in the next couple months. This 52" Samsung has lasted me 5 years and done well.

PS4 Pro, PSVR, SNES Classic (Hacked), Nintendo SWITCH.

Just a friendly heads up. Don't put your PSVR breakout box on top of your ps4 like you have it. The heat transfer from your PS4 can cause the breakout box to fail.

The living room gaming setup. Will get some pics of the dedicated game room (PS4 Pro, XBOX X, PSVR, NES, Genesis, Retro3, ect.) and more of the arcade cab up later =)

That’s a cool idea for a coffee table. Who modded the NES? (The green one).

Thanks! I was looking for a coffee table for gaming consoles and was surprised no one offered one. I sketched out the plans and one of my friends built it and ran all the wiring (goes underneath through conduit back to my component cabinet, it's all hidden, can't stand cables all over the place).

The TMNT NES was created by Custom NES Guy. My wife later got me the matching Zapper that he did as well to round out the kit =) He uses automotive paint and clear on everything...does amazing work. I actually don't play on this one (don't want to possibly scratch the finish), as I have another NES and some clone consoles up in the gaming room connected to my Sony Trinitron. It's the only console not connected in the coffee table.

I like threads like this because it forces me to clean up my desk... some. Desk is still the cleanest part of the room.

Just got an iphone X and wanted an excuse to test the camera. I got rid of a lot of my consoles and games after moving(8 months ago), but recently got the ps4 pro because my tv is 4k.
Very impressed how sharp 4k content has been on ps4 pro.

People PEOPLE!..I mean I understand average consumers but damn.. you as a gamer should not be mounting your TVs that high..it should at eye level..at the very least.

Your PC gaming rig setup is almost identical to mine :D. Nice one. Thanks for sharing mate. You have a great setup. My living room is vastly different from yours however (mine is focused on optimal 3D bluray and gaming in accordance with my preferences) but I love what you've done. What stylus/record player are you using?

Yeah, I know but the living room is pretty big - hard to tell from the photo. I sit around 4 meters from the TV. It's acutally quite big - 55inch. Next one will be 65inch or I'll go for a projector.

I'm looking for a new TV. I sit about 10-11 feet back from Tv. Your not too much farther than me. I have a 40 now and was going to get a 55. Do you think I'll regret it? I could go 65 but that means less quality to keep budget the same.
