Rumour that marketing rights might be back with Xbox?

I hope so, someone on reddit had said David Vonderhaar had changed his twitter profile pic to a MS avatar, but it’s since been changed. Don’t know if you can really put anything into that.

But I think MS gives COD more fanfare and service. If I were Activision I’d be a little disappointed with the way Sony handled COD at E3 just smushing it in a trailer reel with other games.

I played the betas of the last two COD games, and they both seemed pretty bad. Hopefully this one can deliver.

Treyarch hasn't made a bad game yet. Sledgehammer and the shell of Infinity Ward have always been on thin ice with me. Modern-ish time era with Treyarch map design should make this game a winner.

I didn't care too much for the multiplayer in BO2, but that was more to do with the ease of quick-scoping than anything else. BO3 was pretty good, but it lost some appeal once I was getting killed by incredibly rare lootbox weapons. With the current backlash towards that sort of thing, and the better ways recent COD titles have handled that issue, I'd hope things will improve.

I'm hyped. Also, not gonna lie, that logo looks sick, probably the best logo for a cod game yet.

It also feels weird that COD isnt coming out in November. Its been like that for a full decade now. I think they are doing this because GTA 5 hugely overshadowed cod: ghosts, and they are getting out ahead of red dead to avoid that same thing happening again.

MW4 might re spark my interest again.

I don't understand that logo, what am I missing?
What part is confusing? The logo itself or why so many seem confused by it or the parody i made? Well, Its a 4. Because its Black Ops 4. It just using an uncommon variation of roman numeral.

My parody is is just what blops 5 may look like if they keep up with that number system. (Trust me, it was funnier in my head)

After the last BO game and considering the popularity of Fortnite and BR , I can't see this years COD doing any better than previous years... which is to say: I believe sales will be down. (unless it's really something special )

There are three developers in the CoD camp, and they take it in turns making the games: Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Sledgehammer.

^ A guy who works for EG (Eurogamer.net), I would assume.
I think EG is evil geniuses, an e sports group or whatever you would call it. I know they have teams and players in a bunch of different games and genres. I have no idea who this person is specifically though.

Only in Call of Duty do you have an active debate over modern or futuristic warfare...

I'm having more fun playing Call Of Duty Online "China" then the last two or three CoDs I've played on console.

So are we getting a full blown campaign with cooperative options? That is one of the reasons why I loved Black Ops 3.

I believe the rumor is still that this CoD wont even have a campaign. Or atleast I dont recall that being shot down yet
I think its been confirmed. If I recall correctly, they are doing some mission based one and done op stuff, but no formal campaign because they are working on something more akin to battle royale. On that note, I am a bit intrigued to see how duty does this year with Fortnite out in the wild like some sort of inverse atm machine. Could be duty's biggest test ever.

You may want to check the date of my post. It was confirmed during the actual reveal on the 17th. Literally a day after my post.

reddit stuff
blackout sounds horrible. The game will ship in like 3 month from now and it reads as if they still have not decided on basic gameplay rules (like how many player there are on a map). Wonder when activision stepped in and forced them to make the blackout mode. I guess somewhere in mid 2017.

No way they have been cooking this for almost 3 years.

There's only one loot crate weapon that could reasonably be considered OP and it didn't come out until well into the 2nd year of the game's life cycle. I get it, you don't like getting killed by guns a casual player likely has very little chance to get but if they're alternatives and not superior, I don't see why that would discourage you greatly from playing a game you're otherwise having fun with...
