Probably the happiest and most financially successful I've been under this administration in terms of timeline. But ah I see, when someone attacks the silliness of a thread, they must be miserable .

Only 2% of France's steel exports are to the US. He doesn't see it as a big deal for his country. That steel can go elsewhere.
Its kind of crazy when you look at the numbers for global steel production. China is nearly producing as much steel annually as the rest of the world combined.
China 831 million tons. Rest of the world 860 million tons. US 81 million.
France only 15 million tons for steel. So kind of a non factor in the bigger picture.

I cringed when people did similar things with Obama, I cringe when I see it done with Trump (ie. x and y bromance in politics). Also, Macron just wants to hug the spotlight and make himself look like a leader and formidable player. Too bad he's so short that he just looks like Trump is hanging around with his younger middle-aged twink.
